On my first visit I had a list of: makgeolli, rice flakes, peanut paste without sugar or palm oil, sliced refrigerated rice cake, aloe vera drink, dried bean curd sheet, etc. The store had exactly everything I was looking for and more. They also have so many varieties of noodles, instant or not. The down part is that it is quite pricey, but still acceptable since all asian products imported to europe are also quite expensive. In means that, they have oyster sauce, but only from one producer, etc. Although it is small, they have the Indomie and sambal ABC that every Indonesian like me so desired. And that should be enough as starter. Moving on, After moving to places and being absent from this area, I had the wonderful opportunity to visit this store again, since I was going home through Dom hbf, and i though "Why not buy some asian stuffs to cook?" - we are having thai abend at my place. So i come by and decided to buy several sauce and seasoning for our cookings later that night. To my surprise, it was really really full. Later on, i realized that this store is specialized in mostly one type of customer: Chinese customers! As asian, you can tell from which asian countries some people are, it is in your blood. Just like Europeans can tell which country other Europeans come from; it comes naturally like that amazing instinct when you saw someone attractive in your crowd! Thus, almost everyone was speaking Chinese, i can tell some are even regulars in this store. That is nice, because it means they have customer's loyalty. They have this chopstick looking vegetable, that i guarantee i can not even find sometimes in Indonesia. I am also pretty sure they have more chinese products thats why a lot of their customer's are chinese. Who else is eating this chopstick looking vegetable aside from us asians, right?? I bet most westerners do not even know they exist until we force them to eat it. The only major set down, is the space. Since they have small store and quite big product variations, it makes it hard to walk every mini aisle. Harder when you have a shopping crate. You basically have to push and shove and pray you dont accidentally drop and break the jar of something while shopping. PS: Try the fresh home-made Bak Chang which cost 1,50EUR. It is delicious!
