My loved one has been a resident for several months. In the process of moving him out we arrive at…read morethe facility to collect his things. We noticed upon arriving they turned his AC off and taped closed before us even moving him out. Regardless if he was moving out, it's hot outside. To be a facility that is supposed to provide standard of care to ALL patients. Not cool. We ask one of the staff why his AC is off and instead of giving us an explanation they ask why we took the tape off? And then proceeded to turn it back on. I'll say this again, regardless of any patient situation, you provide the standard of care to your patients whose family has trusted you with their health and well being. Shame on y'all. Not worth the price to pay when you're really doing their job for them.

I wrote several letters back in May this year to the Brookdale Senior Living higher ups, this…read moreincluded the President, Chief Executive and Director etc. This was regarding lack of concern and safety for their older ones while on a day trip that I witnessed at a restaurant outing back in May 2019. I never received a single response about these concerns. My letters were addressed to people at Brookdale: Mrs Baier, Mr Kaestner, Mr. Swain, Mr White, Mr. Kaestner, and others. I sent out a total of 7 letters with photos of what my husband and I witnessed!!! Sadly that lack of response is disappointing to say the least. So my assumption is that it fell on deaf ears......I would NEVER consider this facility a place I would leave my loved one for that very fact!!! So beware !!! Concerned on Looker, Mrs. Slade

Paid his bill every month within the first 10 days of each month. But once my father passed, I received a wopping 6000 plus bill for items back from June and July. Never had on previous bills, but I never had any warnings. Met 3 times with finance person to no avail. Never returned my calls. Then, I spoke to the main office, sent them, and itemized information. The home office assured me someone would call to speak with me from Biloxi. I'm still waiting for the call. Spoke with my dad's attorney. He said to write a note explaining Deceased. I don't want this to happen to anyone, especially those residence who have no one to support them. Their finance and billing are terrible.
