Fortunately, the Goldwing, being a large motorcycle, absorbed much of the impact. Although the Goldwing was totaled and my injuries were numerous and severe, I am grateful they weren't worse. I was thrown from the motorcycle onto the car, breaking its windshield. The collision also caused me to break the motorcycle's handlebars with my thighs and its windshield with my upper body or head--I'm still not entirely sure how. My injuries included bruised thighs, bruised arms, a bruised sternum, one broken bone, and 12 stitches across my forehead. Initially, I didn't think my injuries were severe and wanted to go home, but the EMTs insisted on taking me to the hospital, and I am thankful they did. While discussing the accident with a family member, I was advised to seek legal assistance. I made several calls, one of which was to Benson & Bingham. They responded promptly, unlike the others. During our initial call, I described the accident, and a meeting was scheduled immediately. I met with Nellie Adami, who became my Case Manager, and Todd Alexander, the attorney assigned to handle my case. I later learned about Todd's extensive experience in this type of litigation, which reassured me that I was in excellent hands. I am now confident that seeking their help was the best decision I could have made following the accident. Without Benson & Bingham, and without Nellie Adami and Todd Alexander's assistance, I would have been left owing thousands of dollars for healthcare costs, including the ambulance, emergency room, and aftercare, which the insurance companies would not have covered. If you're looking on here for reviews to find an attorney if you've been injured or in an accident- the search is over because you've found the place! I sent a message via Yelp after I was in a car accident because I wasn't at fault and wanted to make sure I had a good experience getting this handled. Laura literally handled it all for me without any hassle on my end. Trust me- you don't want to deal with insurance companies on your own! It's a headache and you'll get some level of anxiety with the run around. Unfortunately this is the most common method they use to wear you down so they can pay as less as possible for their bottom line. This goes towards the repairs too! Which was the most important to me! I had just purchased a $52k Toyota 4Runner and I wanted to avoid any "skimping" when it came to the insurance approving certain repairs. Laura is so kind and wonderful, she took care of it and I was so grateful to her. Her work ethic is incredible. Greg is the guy that comes in towards the end and handles his part of the deal. He's great too! I spoke with him and met him in person as well. From what I learned, He used to work for a big name insurance company doing claims for many years. So he's basically got expertise on both ends! Those years of knowledge are definitely a perk for clients to this firm. I didn't meet Steven since the case was settled without going to court (which was great!) and I just didn't cross paths with him when I dropped by a couple times. He's of course, the reason for the name on the wall and he steps in when things need to be taken to next level. I'm sure he's a solid guy based on my whole experience. I know it takes a "team" but I just want to say that Laura is the real MVP here! This firm has more than fair fees. There was actually a few times Laura helped me with making sure the repairs with insurance adjuster were done 100% to my requests that I thought the attorney fees weren't enough for the help I was getting in return. Ha! And trust me- I would've paid more for this quality of service! But don't worry, you'll get incredible service for a very fair fee. They were able to get me a settlement beyond what I expected. Which if you do the math and use common knowledge of how these claims turn out- If you don't have an attorney you'll get probably a quarter of that settlement and not to mention stress and grief. So, even with a "fee" you're actually still ahead. More importantly, their level of experience and knowledge in this field surpasses an exceptional level of quality. Perks on all ways you look at it! All of that with being humbled and relatable people. Nobody is stuffy in this office. Everyone is down to earth and professional. All in all, You'll be satisfied with the end result. I researched all of the popular well known law firms in the area and I truly believe this was and is the best choice. Being in an accident is stressful and you want this office to be representing you! Also, don't wait to get an attorney. Hire them right away and stay on top of what you need to do on your end. Ie.
