Affordable interlock were amazing from start to finish. I had an interlock for 2 years, customer service was always amazing! They went above and beyond and even put air in my tire that was flat! The past two years, I have seen multiple customers being rude to the workers and taking out their anger from having to get an interlock and the annoyance of it on the workers. But the workers have always kept it professional and were respectful back. No better place in Utah for an interlock, and they are judgement free! The crew at Affordable Interlock are simply fantastic! They care about you, your circumstances and will do everything to get you on your way quick and easy and able to drive again.. They answer any questions, explain every detail, and really it is quick and easy.. The device they install is very easy to use after about a 10 minute training period they give you.. So easy, no humming, just blow in about 8 seconds and suck out about 2 seconds and your up and running... Honestly, I should have had this device on my vehicle prior to my DUI, and it would not have happened... I always have a great experience with each of their employees. Mark is super awesome. I even showed up 15 min after they closed, needed my device to reset because of a violation that would lock the system out at midnight if I didn't get it in. He did it no problem, and even had a pleasant conversation. Call the DMV. Was charged $250 for a piece of paper when they used to charge $25. Turns out you can go to the dmv and get the same paper for $35. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They claim that their services are easy and stress free but they are anything but that. Their systems fail in high heat and extreme cold. They charge you for "missed appointments" when they are out to lunch. I will be reporting this company to the BBB and the state of utah. This business is a disgrace. BEWARE DOING BUSSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. I. October 2019 I went to the centerville location to do my first update prior to this I have had the interlock for 2 months I was ordered to have it for 4 months initially everything was great I had no complaints paid the 30 dollars for the first month and another $70 on my first visit which covered me for the first 2 months. So in October I go in for the update and the gentlemen doing the update was pretty cool we talked the whole time while he was doing it and he seemed really nice and down to earth, once he finished I called the DLD to get the date I'm supposed to take out my interlock which was DEC 8 2019 so I pay him the $70 bucks and he tells me even tho I only have to have the device in for 8 days in December I will have to pay another $70 for that month and I will have to come back in on the first of December for another update unless I pay for both months upfront ( Nov and December ) which wouLd be $140 I was going through real rough time with money at the time but I decided to just pay for it upfront to save me the trouble of going in for the update, so I hand him $140 cash and he puts it in the system tells me I'm good to go and makes the appointment for me to come in on DEC 9 to take out the interlock. So everything is cool I'm thinking. Which brings us to today i take the day off of work and I'm thrilled to finally get this thing out of my car I call them arouNd noon to confirm my 4 o clock appointment and the first red flag pops up they don't have me in the system for an appointment at all which I thought was very strange but they said they could have me come in at 4 so I thought perfect that's the time I was going to come in at in the first place. I get there and the lady up front pulls up my name and says owe $139 dollars and I'm like wait nooo I paid the guy in the shop he come up to the front and acts like he does t remember me of anything like I never paid him or nothing ( I messed up by not getting the receipt which was my fault 100 percent ) so now i explane then this story in detail and they pretty much tell me I'm a liar without actually saying it, at this point I'm blown away that this guy who I thought was cool as shit just played me like this I can't believe there doing this and over only $140 bucks there willing to destroy there reputation I really hope that money helped him out. So I'm frustrated but calm and holding my composer and I tell them I'm not paying again for somthing I already paid for I began to leave and they decide to take out there interlock device and I guess send me to collections. What they don't understand is I'm not going to bend under there pressure or threats of collections this is bullshit I will go as far as I have to go to tell the world how corrupt this business is and NEVER I REPEAT THE NEVER WILL THEY GET ANOTHER PENNY FROM ME. So take me to collections, take me to court it doesn't matter because the truth will always prevail in the end. So I Warn you all who need an interlock to find some other company unless you want to get played and treated like a lier like I was. ( what's funny is when I was initially calling around to see the cheapest place to use I called another interlock company and told them I was paying only $30 for the first month with afforadble and they wanrned me not to go there that they are shady people.
