If you need one and there isn't one there, just ask in the reception office and they will find one. The check in room on the first floor is a little small but after the first check in, you don't need to go in there each time. He spoke with me a few minutes about my specific concerns (rotator cuff issues exacerbated by typing), my previous treatment--and WHAT WORKS FOR ME!-- and my experience with massage. He listened, planned our time, and suggested some strategies that could help. So far, responsive and helpful. Once I was on the table, he communicated throughout the session--not random chatting, but specific questions and orientation to techniques he thought would help. He used pressure point release and deep tissue work, explaining what he thought would work and why. Most helpful, he suggested things that I could do on my own to help alleviate the pain. A few days later, my shoulder is still looser than when I went in. Not only have his suggestions helped, but I have a much better understanding of the mechanics of my injury and the rehab possibilites to ask about when I return to NY. Call Alan.
