As an…read moreemerging dance music label it was imperative that we chose a designer with not just the technical ability to create a functional and responsive site, but also the vision to take our design ethos and implement it within the site. Our brief was to build a vibrant and engaging platform from which we could sell both downloads and physical products (t'shirts etc. ) and also promote our artists/releases/events. It had to: - be simple and intuitive to use for the customer. - incorporate an e-commerce solution which allows the user to preview audio before buying. - utilize various social media feeds. - have a high presence in google and other search engines. As 'hands on kinda guys' it was also important for us to be able to update products in the shop, artist profiles and pics, images and links on the front page slider, and the news section ourselves. The freshlinx team not only talked us through how to do these things via email/phone, but also embedded tutorial videos so we could go over anything we might forget - initially we thought this was overkill but over time they have proved invaluable. The Freshlinx team have been a joy to work with, from the initial consultation stage right through to the finished product and on through aftercare. They were able to translate technical nous into terms we could easily understand, and offered advice on how to build on and improve the site and how we use it. The fact we were able to arrange face to face consultations was a major plus for our peace of mind.
