Our band stumbled upon Media Blitz while searching for a new place to practice and we were all blown away by the quality of the equipment and the studios. No ancient amps, duct-taped and crappy microphone stands, drums, etc. All new stuff and the rooms clean and acoustically sound. But what makes this place special is the attention to detail and professionalism of the owner. Dan makes sure you have every thing you need when you are there. Highly recommended for band rehearsals.

Brilliant Producer and Engineer - Highly Recommend!…read more I've had the pleasure of working with Joe for many years, and each time we have worked together has been an absolute pleasure. From the moment we connected, he was incredibly helpful, easy to communicate with, and just brilliant. His expertise and knowledge are vast. The first project I brought to Joe was a 3-song demo; he not only helped me shape the vocals, but he also offered structural and harmonic ideas that took the songs to a whole new level. His ears are second to none. He's got a natural talent for coaching vocal performances, and as a wonderful singer himself, he knows exactly how to coax out the best from a singer. On top of that, his extensive knowledge of music and recording history brings so much depth to everything he does. As we continue to collaborate, I have came to appreciate just how versatile Joe is. He can seamlessly move through genres, bringing an artist's vision to life. Joe has a deep ability to understand the emotional essence of a performance and translate that into sound. Whether it's creating unique orchestrations or capturing a perfect vocal take, Joe elevates every project he's a part of. Not to mention, there's always a lot of laughter throughout the process! Joe's warm, inviting nature makes working with him a joy, and his ability to keep things light and fun really enhances the experience. I'm extremely proud of the songs I recorded with Joe. If you're looking for someone who can bring out the absolute best in your project, I highly recommend Joe at Headline Studios. He's not just an amazing engineer and producer--he's a true collaborator who will help you bring your artistic vision to life.

Lessons with Joe are great!…read more I've been playing the guitar for over 10 years and I found myself in a plateau, playing the same things and not really understanding how music really works. I was hesitant to take lessons since I had made so much progress on my own, through watching YouTube videos and reading tabs online. I decided to give it a shot after a quick conversation at the store one day while buying some strings and man am I happy I did! I had about a million questions for Joe during our first lesson and realized that it would be best to have some regularity to our lessons. The first two were really about getting to know each other, and for Joe to get a read on my experience level. From there, each lesson has been better than the next and I feel myself learning in meaty chunks - a feeling I haven't had in some time with the guitar. We cover both music theory and technique. Joe gives me bite sized riffs and exercise to practice each time we connect. A few lessons in you can start to feel how they connect in his mind and you'll be amazed at how far you've come.
