Of all things to wait for the weekend, this is one for the list. You're parked right beside the airstrip with one of the best views in town and have your pick of some delicious entrees. Seating can be outdoors, on the terrace, or inside.
If you come here on a Saturday or Sunday (or on a long weekend holiday), you'll likely be joined by people flying in for lunch in private planes, riding in on ATVs or motorcycles, or cycling in on bicycles. Aeroposta is also frequented by larger group guests as it's fairly easy to get a table (except on event weekends).
Menus are within stamped envelopes. After placing your order, they serve breadsticks with a homemade garlic mayonnaise (soooo yummy). Drinks range from cafeteria (coffee, tea), soft drinks, or choice beers/wine/cocktails.
We've ordered and loved the sandwiches (centenos), the raviolis (all of them), the gnocchis, and the trout. And anything we haven't ordered, we've seen others eating who seemed to have enjoyed their food, too.
They also have live music (weekends in the summer, I believe) outside.
This place is just an all-around great place to chill, have some good food and drinks, and people watch or come with friends. We love this place and hope it will always be here every year that we come back to La Cumbre. read more
