We worked with Abby and Dayna from AE for our wedding at Aspen Hall in Bend. They were incredibly accommodating to all our needs and frequent changes. As the day got closer we realized there were many things we planned to DIY but just didn't have the time. At first we thought we wouldn't need a wedding planner, but for anyone wavering on that decision, just hire AE - It was so nice to have everything taken care of. We ended up going with the "Day of Plus" package and rented some items from them as well. It was all money well spent and I have no regrets. After speaking with Abby, I had decided that I wanted our families present for our special day, so I went with a small ceremony. Since I was busy with my own business, I knew I was going to be pretty absent in the planning of my wedding. Abby interviewed me and my husband on all of our likes and dislikes, and then we let her take full control over the wedding, and we are so happy that we did!!! My now-husband and I met Abby during the wedding planning process and instantly hit it off. We had originally planned to enlist Abby's support in day-of set up for our wedding but ended up also having her create our wedding invitation suite; we rented several items from her amazing collection of wedding day decor; AND we hired her to be our day of coordinator! From the first time we met with Abby it was clear that she was extremely attentive to detail, very laid back (a must in wedding planning), and happy to offer opinions when requested without offering unsolicited advice. Abby's amazing design skills led to the creation of beautiful (real!) wood invitation suites that our guests all loved; we got so many phone calls about how they fit our style perfectly and how people thought the RSVP cards were so pretty that they didn't want to return them! We also knew that we didn't want to accumulate things we wouldn't use after the wedding and luckily AE Creative's inventory is so stellar that we picked out crates to hold our blankets in (it was an outdoor winter wedding), and a large array of beautiful unique chalk signs to use throughout our wedding and reception. As our wedding day drew closer it was clear that for our peace of mind we needed a wedding day coordinator. With AE Creative when you reserve the set-up you have reserved Abby's time and she will not book another event that day, so if you decide to upgrade there isn't a risk of losing her great work to another wedding that same day! Having Abby be our day of coordinator was one of the very best decisions we made for our wedding. She walked us through the rehearsal, gave us a million little pointers that we never would've thought of (try to look up as you walk back down the aisle as newlyweds!), and actively reminded us to soak in the moment on our big day. There were so many little details made perfect by Abby and Dayna; from bringing a plate of appetizers to my husband and I before we were introduced, to subtly pulling my dad from another conversation so he could prepare for his toast, to making sure that when the late night smore's bar came out that our special signage was also out too.... there wasn't a single moment when I worried about if our wedding day was on time or whether everything would look beautiful. AND (as if that wasn't enough) Abby and Dayna did an amazing job of setting up our ceremony and reception site. They added beautiful touches of greenery to our welcome sign, wedding arbor, and string lights above our reception (knowing this was the look we wanted and making sure to put the extra greens our florist provided to work!). They made sure every candle was lit and that the reception/ceremony sites were absolutely perfect. They set up the perfect woodland wedding for us, treated us like royalty all day, and just as importantly Abby was constantly available to us in the lead up to the big day (which is saying a lot since we live in Seattle and bombarded her with emails). If you are thinking about wedding rentals, design invitation, set-up, or day of coordination AE Creative will provide you with astounding service, and Abby will treat you like a friend; making sure you get exactly what you want and ensuring she is there in whatever capacity you need her to be.
