Been in this Adventure Room with a bunch of work colleagues. Never been in one before....just…read morealways wondered how fun and how difficult these Adventure rooms might be. We got split up in two groups, one chasing the other. Both trying to escape the room. A point for making the escape...and a point for catching up with the other group. We were in the room "Die Schwarze Königin". The puzzles and riddles here are quite challenging. Some you might encounter as easy while others will keep you guessing. The longer we've been in there, the more exciting and ambitious I got (to my own suprise). In the first run both of our groups didn't make it out....and none caught up with the other. In the 2nd run we caught up with the other team (Point for us) and almost made it out. One....just one number lock was keeping us from the ultimate win. One more minute and we would've made it. But it was still a blast we've had here. Many puzzles are mathematical and / or based on numbers, which I liked, but might put some off. Not sure how about the other rooms. And we were 8+8 people....which is quite the limit I'd say. If you are 3-5 persons that would be ideal I think. Staff was nice. Instructions were clear (giving you some hints sometimes if you're really stuck). And we were surveillanced at all times....so you can feel safe here, in case somebody panics. Great experience, not my last time here for sure.

It was a terrific experience and very challenging! We had so much fun, we went back a second time during our stay. With so much to do and see in Lucerne, that should be more than enough of a recommendation! We tried the Da Vinci Code, which we found out to be their hardest room (oops our bad..) We found the clues to be quite difficult but nevertheless we escaped! .. with a little help. Everything is very well made and I can see why it is voted #1 in Zurich. They offer the games in both German and English which is very convenient for visitors! Friendly staff as well :)

This was my third time playing an escape game, and "The Key" was leagues ahead of the ones I played…read morebefore. The game took place in an old-school appartement, complete with wooden furnitures, a vintage radio and typewriter, etc. Lot of attention was given to the decorum and props, really helping to maintain the suspension of disbelief. The enigmas themselves were quite challenging, and we barely managed to finish in time. Beginners or children might have trouble winning that one, but should be able to enjoy a good time nonetheless. I look forward to going back and try their second escape room in the near future. :-)
