CPM has been the perfect balance for us. It's clean and open, structured but not regimented, invites learning in many different ways, and all of the teachers are loving and caring. My daughter is very strong willed and not one to go with the flow. I was very concerned about how she would do in a group setting, but she has really flourished. Ms. Kim (as well as the other teachers) sets clear boundaries in an encouraging way and has magically gotten my daughter to follow the routine and the flow without the power struggles that we experience at home. She looks forward to going to school, and has learned a ton, made friends, and incorporated the Montessori style into all that she does. We've been very happy with our choice.

Kid's Town has all the basics a parent would be searching for. They are organized, safe, knowledgeable and skilled in their field, provide daily reports on eating, sleeping, potty, etc. They're programs with music, art, reading and activities outside are phenomenal. The facility is clean and well maintained. But they are so much MORE than that! I could never possibly express my gratitude and peace of mind I feel when I leave my child with them during the day. They go above and beyond to provide individual attention to each and every child and my child just absolutely adores every staff member as do I. For example, when my son was learning to walk, he was quite fond of trying to climb up the small play structure in the infant room although he didn't quite have the hang of coordination yet. He bonked his head a couple times and before I could even ask a question, the staff literally reorganized the ENTIRE infant room and added some raised soft mats for him to climb on while blocking the play structure until he got the hang of his balance. In response to the other comment on the inspection/report history. EVERY SINGLE CHILDCARE CENTER has had at least one small violation at one time or another on their record. Kid's Town has not had ANY serious violations and they post the findings after every visit is conducted. The visits are unannounced and at the last one conducted in August of 2019, there were absolutely NO violations noted. There will come a day when we will have to say goodbye as we move on to Kindergarten and it will be so bittersweet. We love our second family at Kid's Town.

She also will force you to take your one hour lunch as early as possible so she can legally send you home early asap to save money. If you are looking for a full-time job this is not it as you will be told "full-time" yet be sent home early most days. Resa has said that the business is kept overstaffed to ensure the proper ratio of teachers to kids. However her first thought after my wife was in the hospital was to hire somebody and give her hours away. This employer cares nothing for her employees and only cares about money and how to save a dollar. I urge you to stay away and seek employment elsewhere.

The teachers are warm, inviting, and truly care about the safety and well-being of each and every child. Communication with families is a strong suit of the teachers and owner. I always know what's going on in my child's class. Teachers truly care about the whole child - helping them learn but also encouraging and supporting their activities and interests in and outside the classroom. Our Busy Bees teacher even came to our girls' ballet recital and cheered on (and brought flowers for) all the Busy Bees students who performed. I have never questioned safety of my children while at Busy Bees. The curriculum is top-notch and has undoubtedly prepared my girls for TK and kindergarten. This preschool is phenomenal and I'm going to be sad when our littlest kiddo graduates and moves on to the next chapter. The way the school handled Covid protocols was very much supportive of the childrens' well-being and comfort level with face coverings, etc.

Busy Bees went through an ownership change in early 2022…read more Safety My kids came home scratched up and bruised multiple times, and I never got a report of the incident. When I asked what happened to my daughter to the main teacher, the teacher had no idea and the teacher said to follow up but never got a response back. COVID-19 response The staff never wore masks and never required kids to wear masks but one Monday all staff were masked up, it was eerie. Later that day, the school notified me that my kids were exposed to COVID-19 with no details of exposure, and the school was closed for a week. The tuition was reimbursed. Discipline Policy There was a child who is disruptive and harmful to other students, the school had no procedure to correct the kid's behavior. The kid was aware of no consequences for his behavior and bullied kids who were playing alone or kids who doesn't retaliate. Teachers appeared not responsive until kids scream, cry, or tell teachers for help. Basic manners such as taking turns, sharing with others, and being kind to others were not important to teachers and were not disciplined. If these are not taught in a school, why should I even bother sending my kid here? My kid got chased, sand over her hair, and her sand castle was destroyed by one kid. The staff never tried to stop the bullying behavior, they didn't even know it was happening. Teacher-to-Student ratio The school advertises a 1:6 ratio. One teacher and two assistant teachers for 18 kids. However, that's only in the classroom. When kids are outside at the playground, the teacher stays inside the classroom and only assistant teachers are monitoring the kids.

Students, their parents, and their teachers collaborate in the most caring way, and we hold each other to the highest standards. LEA is not a corporate daycare that sees a child as a number. Every child is a part of the family, and their teachers care for them in this manner. Staff turnover rates are extremely low at this daycare, as administration promotes the structure of a work-life balance. Students here grow in a Montessori- like- cohort from ages 0-5, and many establish life-long friendships. The infant teacher, preschool teacher, and Ms. K provide students with the best quality education, routine, and meals. LEA has won the best food program award in the Folsom area for the last 5 years in a row, thanks to Ms.K's spectacular cooking, and attention to nutritional value. Students become extremely well-rounded as a result of LEA's program. Graduates from Little Explorers Academy have no problem moving on to kindergarten, as we promote manners, politeness, provide adequate education, and give students a sense of security and trust in their teachers. My daughter went to LEA for 1.5 months, here is our take:…read more Pros: * Morning play time in the backyard * science experiments that kids like * Bright-wheel subscription to get pictures of kids throughout the day Cons: * Less experienced teachers * Lack of warmth, my daughter didn't adjust to daycare even after 1.5 months and every morning would ask if she has to go to school and cried a lot saying she doesn't like it there * when we asked for pictures/ everyday menu of food we were sent a huge message about trust, condescending and undermining comments * Our kid was told crying is bad and not to cry in the facility. Ms K was friendly and nice until we requested / asked more details of our daughter's day. Now our daughter started elsewhere and transitioned in just a week and loves it there and we find it a lot more comfortable with transparency. Update: Ms Kuntal, yes our primary reason for leaving was need for care on Friday, nowhere in my review I mentioned otherwise, we had issues with interaction and transparency which also added a reason to move. I would have given 1 star if I felt the care was that bad. I did thank for the service but didn't "praise" anywhere, it's my responsibility to thank for the service. WE DID NOT ask for minute to minute update. All we asked for was everyday menu and not sample menu, and picture of food if it's hard to type the food menu. Initially nap times were accurate though we mostly expected amount of sleep but eventually update were only scheduled hours.
