In September 2017 my KitchenAid fridge and dishwasher (circa 1998) decided to die. With the holidays approaching, I like most consumers, went to Home Depot and did not even consider the local small appliance dealer. That was my first big mistake! I ordered the shiny stainless steel Samsung French door fridge. It took 4 weeks for it to arrive and in less than 2 weeks the ice-maker broke. Come to find out, this is the #1 issue with Samsung refrigerators. Long story short, there was ZERO support from Home Depot. All I got was a Samsung support number that only took calls during a four-hour window of time M-F because they are in South Korea. Mind you, no one EVER answered at this number. I called Home Depot and insisted they come back and get the Samsung out of my house. I ordered another KitchenAid because they are better quality and still a US based company. I told the Home Depot sales clerk that I was having a large party on December 16th and wanted to be sure I had it by then. She assured me that it would be delivered by December 12th. On December 15th, I got a call from KitchenAid home offices and they were perplexed as to why HD gave me that date because they were backordered and it would not be arriving until December 28th and the dishwasher wouldn't come until January. I was furious with Home Depot for this poor communication and service! Stay with me, it gets better! I was reminded of Advantage Appliance in Mansfield as I drove by one evening and looked at their website when I got home. They had the exact same refrigerator for the exact same price. I called spoke to Mark Saucier, Jr. and told him my story. He said he had one in the store and invited me to come and look at it. I mentioned that they also had the same dishwasher, but it was 75 dollars more. He matched the price that I received at Home Depot without any hesitation! By this time, it was Monday December 11th and my party was the 16th. I asked him when the fridge could be delivered and he said, "How about tomorrow, but the dishwasher wouldn't be until the next week". I was floored! I figured I could get by without the dishwasher, but not the fridge so I was thrilled! And it gets better! He called the next day to tell me that if I got the upgrade to the dishwasher, he could put me in for the rebate for it and I could have that delivered AND installed on Friday the 15th! Mark saved my party and my cleanup! He was so knowledgeable, calm, and kept me smiling with his fun humor and supportive attitude. It's clear that he loves his job and working with people. He helped me calm down, listened to my frustration which made me feel better. His professionalism and astute service was impeccable and he followed up the within an hour after the installers left to see if I was happy. And I was! If you need large appliances, I would highly recommend talking with Mark Saucier, Jr. at Advantage Appliance in Mansfield, Mass. Next will be the stove and I will be returning there when the time comes. Excellent service from Mark!! Small businesses are better quality and service and Advantage Appliance had better prices comparatively than the other small business appliance stores around my area. They are the best by far! It is rare for me to give five stars but in this case well deserved for the service the price and the patience they showed me as I selected a fridge. I came in more than once with questions and Mark the salesperson was very aware of what I wanted and steered me in the right direction and was extremely patient with my indecision and questions galore.Neil the owner made the price work as well as it was less than everywhere else I looked. Should be the end of the review but two weeks later I was back because my dishwasher broke. Same excellent service, same competitive pricing but this time I declined their delivery and install services opting to use my own installer that I have had for many years. The install did not go well and when Advantage called a few days later to see if I was happy with the dishwasher I told Mark about the install issues. Neil the owner called a few hours later to follow up and then insisted on sending his technician over to reinstall the dishwasher properly. He refused payment even at my insistence and absorbed the cost entirely. He just wanted a customer that bought an appliance from him to be completely satisfied. This is going above and beyond for customer satisfaction in my book. I will not shop anywhere else for my appliances and my advice is to let Advantage do the delivery and install. Leave it to the professionals. I rarely give five star reviews but with this positive experience I would like to give it 10 stars. A very friendly and competitively priced appliance store. read more

Over the last 15 years I have purchased all of my appliances from Advantage Appliance. I have always found the sales team to be professional, knowledgeable, and competitive in their pricing. Most recently, I have undertaken a kitchen renovation in which I purchased all new kitchen appliances including refrigeration, cook top, ovens, dishwasher, and built-in microwave. The project took months as I worked through design, project postponement and delays, and then finally construction. Our sales person, Mark, was terrific throughout the many months of design and construction as he patiently and courteously worked with me to select appliances and answer all my many questions. Mark went out of his way to ensure that I was satisfied and that I had everything that I needed at all times. I was remodeling my kitchen and my contractor suggested I get my appliances at Advantage. We had such a great experience. We told John what our price range was and what we had in mind ahead of coming to the store. When we got there, he had put together a couple of packages that would work for us. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. I never would have gotten that kind of knowledge from a big box store. We ordered the appliances in mid-July but our kitchen would not be ready for them until November. He called us in August to tell us that if we wanted to take advantage of the no-tax weekend, we could come in and pay for the appliances in August, but we didn't have any place to store them until November, so we were going to skip it. But he offered to hold all the appliances until we needed them. Plus they handle all the rebates! Love this as I'm the kind of person that always forgets to fill those out and then end up missing out on the rebates. I would definitely recommend Advantage to anyone! read more

Okay. So I buy a Maytag washer from them a couple of months ago. Don't you know, it isn't spinning right after the few months. I call AA and the next day a tech is at our home. Everything checked out to be fine. Later in the day, I try doing laundry again. Same thing. So AA sent another tech the next day. The tech ordered the part. Unfortunately the part was not to arrive anytime soon. Brendan, service rep., was on top of it when he heard of the delay. The part came in sooner than the mfgr said and the tech came to the house within two days to install it. I was so glad to do my laundry that night. Catch up time! Who ever says that? Bummer the part didn't seem to fix the problem. The tech came out out again the very next day -- a Saturday. Nice! He found the problem was a flaw in the equipment. Right away plans were made to replace the washer with a new Maytag. I can't say enough nice things about them. They went above and beyond their service. Thanks to all. read more

We went to another appliance store who was very good but also very expensive. Our son and daughter-n- law told us about Advantage Appliance as they used them when they were remodeling their kitchen. I bought several new kitchen appliances through Advantage Appliance and could not be happier with their customer service and breadth of knowledge. Bob was extremely helpful in assuring we had the correct items for our new cooktop and hood; even reminding me that code required I would need a make up air kit for our hood when that wasn't even on our radar screen! He knew code requirements, reached out when he knew the 2019 product line was no longer going to be available (we preferred the 2019 double wall oven model to the 2020 version) to assure we ordered on time, and generally was very responsive with my many questions. I purchased a new refrigerator from Advantage Appliance in Mansfield, MA in August 2015.The compresser in our 1 month old Frigidaire 22 cuft refrigerator failed. We lost $300 in food. After 2 attempts, Electrolux customer service got us a service appointment on the same day. The technician diagnosed the problem as a compressor failure and insisted on ordering a new compressor. Electrolux would not give me a new refrigerator. I was unhappy with that decision, so I called Advantage Appliance about the situation, and the very next day, an identical new refrigerator was delivered to my house...no charge, and the defective unit was hauled away for recycling...not worth repairing. If you are planning to purchase a new appliance, I highly recommend that you go to Advantage Appliance in Mansfield. I purchased an induction range there during tax free weekend and had a wonderful experience. My salesman, Dario, answered all of my questions and never pressured me to make a purchase. In addition, I found the prices at Advantage to be competative and their customer service outstanding. I had only had my new range for a few days when, due to user error, there was a problem with the cooktop. I was distraught! I went back to the store and spoke with Dario, who then took me to see the manager. The manager went above and beyond to resolve the problem and I am now happily cooking on my new range! Our washing machine decided to call it quits in the middle of the pandemic. We went to Advantage Appliance because we had bought a new refrigerator and dishwasher there last year when we remodeled our kitchen and had a great experience. Bob, as always, was very helpful, answering any questions that we had. He also informed us about a rebate on the machine, and printed the information for us to get an energy efficiency discount from our town. Mark was great, as always, helping my wife and make an educated purchase of some very nice equipment. The delivers guys took 11 minutes, from the time the truck stopped in my driveway, to the time they left. I had a great experience with Advantage Appliance. My washer broke unexpectedly on a Friday morning when I had a ton of laundry to do (of course!). I called Advantage on the phone and asked about a service call which they were very accommodating for and they also explained how it would work if they couldn't fix it. Our 11 yr old whirlpool washer died right in the midst of the quarantine. Delivery was smooth and when I went to fill out paperwork for our rebates I was completely confused -- so went to the store and was helped with all the paperwork. Easy/stress free shopping with Bob at Advantage. Honestly, this place was not on my radar at all. A friend suggested I check them out and I'm so glad I did! My wife and I previously bought a dishwasher and most recently a stove and microwave from Advantage Appliance. We are very happy with both purchases. Their customer service is great, and Bob was helpful and knowledgeable. They were able to match the price of a mainstream competitor, and helped us to coordinate everything since the job involved using a contractor and plumber (since we needed an outlet installed for the microwave, and a plumber to handle the gas stove). We purchased 4 appliances for our kitchen from Advantage. Mark Saucier was helpful, accommodating and knowledgeable as we walked thru store and looked at different options. Prior to purchasing, we contacted Mark with additional questions and he replied immediately. After the purchase, Mark handled all the paperwork for rebates and product registration.
