The first counselor I was signed up with ended up not taking my insurance and charged me $89 for…read morethe visit.  That counselor then referred me to another that she said would take the insurance.  When I met with the second counselor, she told me she wasn't sure if she would really be covered by it, ended the session early, and told me she would contact billing to figure it out.  I never heard back about it.  Two months later I noticed that I had been charged their "satisfaction guarantee" of $24 twice.  I called for a refund and was refunded for one of the charges, but the woman on the phone told me the other charge would have to be refunded by her boss, which she said she would have taken care of.  I called again after three weeks when the second refund never went through.  I was told I wouldn't be getting the refund because I hadn't canceled my account, even though I hadn't used the service in the two months I was being charged for.  As a student, I find this to be extremely disrespectful of those who are trying to better their mental health on a tight budget.  I could have used that money to buy almost three weeks of groceries.  Find another service!  This one just wants your money.
