NOT HAPPY ! Advanced Pavers of Ft Myers was contracted through White Aluminum and Windows (Ft Myers) to do the pavers in our lanai . . . and I have to say I am very disappointed with the final results. For starters, the footers and lanai paver deck was oversized by 18", violating the side set backs (as per Collier County zoning). White Aluminum did not catch this either - and the screening was put up in violation of the set back. White Aluminum did come back and 'redo' the lanai screening, moving the one side in 18' . . . allowing us to finally get out occupancy permit. However we are not delighted to have the pavers extend outside the screening . . .
This would been tolerable (and I would not have written a review), had the rest of the lanai been a quality job. It was NOT !
Shortly after Advanced Pavers finished the job (and I paid them) - it rained. This is when we saw 2 low spots (approximately 2 and 3 foot square) where water puddled and became stagnant. I immediately informed owner Orion, and was reassured his men would be there ASAP to fix the low pavers. That was a year ago. Despite numerous calls and repeated promises, the problem was never fixed. We ultimately had to pay someone else to pull up the pavers and level both spots.
Here's the kicker - We gave them a good referenced to my neighbor, and they hired them to do their lanai as well. I did so on the promise he would fix my lanai when he came to do the neighbors. NEVER HAPPENED.
