This place is infested with mice it is ridiculous not to mention my stuff was stolen three years ago, i've been at this storage for 15 years originally it was great but the management does not take care of the mice properly and there's mice droppings that have ruined everything in my storage. I came here for my ""appointment"" to view the units, and I was told I couldn't. Literally wasted my time. I had to force this gentleman to help me, he said he was too busy. After all the bad reviews I still took a chance, but I got here and they have their maintenance garage open with all of their BOLT CUTTERS and equipment just free to anyone wanting to cut off the locks of the units! Well still no call from management they finally have some one in the office that takes her job seriously and called from her cell because the office phones are down, shes not calling because they received all my messages or the call center messages but because my guy was standing in her office. So if he was not in the office i would still probably never received a call. Not to mention they WONT reverse the late or lien fees due to them NOT calling back. Had to pay the entire bill and she said the district manager would give me a call. I WON'T HOLD MY BREATHE!! Time to get our stuff out !! read more

I am very lucky to have found this place. I needed to find an affordable storage unit on a Saturday because I had to be out of my house by Sunday evening. After searching on-line, and being disappointed by other company's prices and availability, I came across Advanced Mini Storage. Shelli was able to meet with me as soon as they opened and explained the whole process perfectly. She took the time to show me the unit to make sure I was happy with the size and location. When I came back to bring my first load of belongings, I found that she even put a rope on my roll up door for me! It was a stressful move but she made this process a lot easier for me. I went to Advanced Mini Storage to inquiry about a storage unit and Shelli the Facility Manager met with me. She was nice, friendly and very informative. She took the time to show me the size of the unit and where it would be located and explained everything I needed to know, she was very thorough and very knowledgeable. She explained the contract, price, late fees, etc. I bought a lock and she took it out to my unit and hand me the keys. I was in and out and it did not take very long at all. I would recommend this storage to anyone who is interested in storing their belongings. read more

An okay place to put your stuff... but be warned, access to your stuff is not possible after 6pm; not very convenient. My wife said that someone in the office was rude to her, but I have never had anything but courteous service. Their rates are reasonable and had been there over a year... BUT BUT be warned, be sure to check your contract!!! The gate locks at 6 pm each night and holidays. I submitted the termination date on Dec 31, 2012, Not a EVEN courtesy reminding me that they closes on Dec 31 and Jan 1. On Dec 31, my friend and I were towing a rented U-Haul trailer from San Jose to Stockton to empty my storage space, the gate was locked. I called the office on Jan 2, they gave me an bad impression by saying it was in your contract. I asked them why don't you gave me a courtesy remind... They said "Not my problem" and charged me a few days of renting a storage space. read more

If you want your items to be secured then let me tell you, this place is not where you want to go. They allege to have great security, in reality they have piss poor security. If you doubt what I say take a walk around the facility and you can see multiple spots along the fence line where it has been cut. Only some of their units are alarmed not that the alarm means anything as it goes off constantly with no response from staff at all. The staff Brittini and Ashley are to put it mildly inept thieves that will try and make up charges or flat out lie and say you never made a payment because they pocketed the cash, so if you do decide to do business with them pay with a card because if you pay with cash all your doing is buying their daily fix or getting their nails done. I've spoken to other people with units there and the general consensus is when your moving into the unit the staff seems to be very busy nearby almost as though they are scoping out your stuff. Lastly please if you have done business there and feel they have done you dirty learn about storage laws. Just Google "self storage act California" it's a wealth of info and it may just save you the trouble of losing your belongings to these hideously unprofessional lying thieves. read more

So I only had this storage unit for 8 days and they "accidentally" put my unit number on a list to be cleared out. So EVERYTHING I OWNED is in the garbage. And the manager had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to get in the back of the truck and pull my stuff out. The truck was filled with garbage. Wood and glass. I do not understand how my unit ended up on a list when there is a long process of terminating someone unit. These people are unprofessional. There were other ppl there saying the office lady was offering ppl to get anything they wanted from my unit. I seen some of my stuff in different areas of the storage property. read more

If it was possible to leave zero stars i would. I reserved mu unit and then went and paid got the unit same day. I arrived at 3pm Saturday 10/24 took almost an hour to get the rental but I dont blame sandy who was working she was very helpful id personally give here all the stars in the world. But 30ins later I no longer needed the storage I called ahead and was told I can have a refund, when i returned to the property at 4:37 there was no one in the office to assist me i needed assistance not only for a refund but because the gate codes (×4) i was given didn't work and they had to manually let me in.i spoke to 2 separate people who insured me id receive a refund since no one was in the office so that I wasn't using the unit. They are closed on Sundays and I didn't have an access code to enter the property so I was told to return Monday for a refund and access. Its now Monday I arrive at 9, the property manager arrived 20 mims late, she greeted me with a very bad attitude, she didn't want to assist me and is now telling me I can't receive a refund and that she'll look over everything and give me a call later, trys giving me a new code that also didn't work and gave me nothing but attitude. Im frustrated at how this company operates i am not someone who leaves bad reviews for any company EVER even if the experience is bad, but considering the fact that I could have had my refund and my stuff the sand day and now im receiving nothing but terrible and extremely ride customer service when it was there system that wasn't working prompted me ti leave my first and hopfully my only bad review. read more

I'm a little upset with the way I was treated today...I have had my storage with these people for almost a year...in that time I've never given nor causes issues and always paid my fees with automatic payments..never late..since COVID came and ruined my life I have been having to manage my money accordingly being I've been laid off (since April 1) and have yet to receive my unemployment benefits..the lady Brittany who called me before was so nice and understanding..the girl TODAY!...was so freaking rude! She literally hung up in my face!!! She called asking about my storage being I haven't paid it..I explained my convo with Brittney & this chick said she knew nothing of that convo..next thing you know she finds it but can't help me..as I begin to explain how uncaring I felt they where being..(you know because PGE.Water Co., mortgage brokers/banks, car insurance etc., have all been understanding of the Covid situation) this girl really hangs up in my face..I tried asking for my price owed and she still just HUNG UP ON ME! My 17 year old said the girl needs customer service courses, which I think she's right...that's not how to handle an upset customer even if there IS nothing you can do...I'm very disappointed in that phone call..needless to say..I don't know how much I owe! I give 2 stars because Brittney was so amazing on the phone!!!!! Advanced is not what I would call a business who does not have a running website yet has two different websites listed, one for yelp and one for google; can not be found on apple maps, is not accessible past 6:00pm, does not have a voicemail setup in their office line yet the owners state they live on site. I get the feeling after being a customer for 10 years that they just fouldnt cive a guck. If not for the horrible hours I would have advanced myself to a new storage facility and avoided one of the biggest regrets of my life. That being said, I do recommend Regressive microscopic broom closets to anyone who would like to feel a low dull drumming of self hate which will build over time as you realized that they have successfully trapped you and other hard working people in a reoccurring payment that is impossible to make so that you can keep your unneeded shit out of the rain. read more

I visited this business and was treated horribly by the owner. I told him my fiancee had some tools he wanted to store for work. He showed me a unit that looked like it would suit our needs. He told me to have my fiancee to come to rent the unit. I asked him if I could go ahead and rent the unit while I was there (my husband is getting a tooth extracted and fillings and we're moving this weekend). The owner turned his back to me and said, "Just forget it. I'm not going to do it." He cut me off and was extremely disrespectful and right out unprofessional. I have no idea how people like this are allowed to do business with the public. I would not rent from this loser. Go to American Self Storage. They are much cheaper and their gate hours access is way longer. They are also offering first month's down of only $36 dollars. The guy who helped me was very friendly and even apologized to me for the treatment I received elsewhere. Now that's how to do business. It's extremely unfortunate that the owner of this business can't even acknowledge or take accountability for his unprofessionalism. I didn't have a problem with his policy. I had a problem with his attitude and treatment towards me. On top of that, I had my young daughter with me and was embarassed that I was essentially told to leave. I have been asking the management of this facility to fix or replace the roll up door to my rented unit for at least 5 years now despite my excellent payment history. They usually would tell me that they will schedule a service to repair or replace but never do. At one time a new manager told me that they had been made aware of several units with the same issue that they also failed to repair or replace. Recently I have been sending emails asking them to correct the issue but now they just ignore me so I am writing them a new letter requesting the door be repaired or I will look into legal action to request refunds of payments and/or to pay for me to move my items to a new facility as I cannot properly access my unit. I cannot recommend this business as they show no respect to their customers, they just want the money and now they have raised the rent by almost 50% and continue to refuse to provide my reasonable access to the unit that they provide to other customers. read more
