BEWARE: UNPROFESSIONAL AND HOSTILE EXPERIENCE I had a very concerning experience at this office and would strongly caution others. I went in for ingrown toenail treatment and chose Onyfix, but the application was performed by a receptionist, not the doctor. After the procedure, I gave it some time but continued to have pain, and I called the office because the application appeared uneven and "blobbed on." I asked whether I should wait longer or come back in, and the receptionist advised me to return so Dr. Ting could apply a second coat. When I came back and expressed my concerns, Dr. Ting was dismissive and immediately became hostile. He spoke over me, raised his voice, and repeatedly emphasized that he is the doctor while ignoring my concerns as a patient. He also stated that the receptionist was a "physician," which added to my confusion. His behavior quickly escalated he became argumentative, belittling, and unprofessional. He was yelling, talking over me, and dismissing everything I was saying. At one point, he stormed out of the room and continued speaking negatively about me in front of his staff, loudly complaining about my concerns. I felt embarrassed and disrespected. When he returned, he continued the same hostile behavior, raising his voice and talking down to me. I had to tell him to stop speaking to me because I felt uncomfortable due to his behavior, but he continued. At that point, I felt unsafe. No patient should ever be treated this way for asking reasonable questions about their own care. While I was eventually given a refund, the way I was treated was completely unacceptable. Patients have the right to voice concerns and be treated with respect this experience did not reflect that at all. I am very concerned that a doctor would behave in such a hostile, argumentative, and belittling manner yelling at a patient, storming out, and speaking negatively about them in front of staff. I have never experienced anything like this before. It is especially concerning because patients come to this office for help, and I had legitimate questions about my treatment and the pain I was experiencing. read more
