Gina is incredibly meticulous and organized--she really takes the time to understand what's going on and explains the process clearly. The treatments helped not only with post-surgery inflammation, but I later came back for an additional session focused on nerve regeneration on one side of my knee, which was also extremely beneficial. The facility itself is spotless, calm, and very well run--exactly what you want when you're recovering and healing. One thing to note: parking is pretty rough, so definitely give yourself extra time to find a spot. That said, I drive from West LA because I'd heard such great things about Gina, and it has absolutely been worth it. I'll continue coming back and highly recommend her, especially for post-surgery recovery.

Kim since April after having been in a big snow mobile accident at the beginning of the year, which left me with 4 broken ribs and 2nd degree ac joint injury. I had very limited mobility and range of motion in my left arm. I could hardly lift up my arm and I had a lot of pain with using my left arm. I tried out three Acupuncture offices before finally coming to this place by recommendation. When I came to the clinic in April I couldn't use my arm to put in my contacts nor lift my arm to tie my hair. However, after 1 month of seeing Dr. Kim, I was able to finally tie my hair, which was great progress for me. I've been continuing now for 6 months and have improved to 95%. I still have a bit of stiffness in my arm but my range of motion from the needles, massage, stem and Dr Yong Kim's precise stretching methods have improved my condition greatly and I am forever thankful. The massage from Jenny is divine as well and I book one hour massage sessions with her from time to time to really get in that arm to breakup the scar tissue. I've already introduced this gem to a few other people, but the front staff is also so helpful and great, I look forward every week!

Full disclosure: I've had massages, acupuncture, trigger therapy massage, trigger point acupuncture! Dude... acupressure massage... where have you been my whole life?! My first visit, Dr. Yoon greeted me, I filled out paperwork, he took vitals (height, weight, blood pressure, heart rate). I changed into a hospital gown and shorts that were provided to me. Sometimes they give you a disposable panty, sometimes they don't. So, don't go commando He then proceeded w the acupressure massage. This is not for the faint off heart. Maybe I'm more jacked up than other people but, I found it to be painful yet WORTH IT!! He would find a sore area, work on it and other parts then go back to the first area to ask me if it was still sore. Surprisingly, I felt relief after the massaging. Even my scoliosis is less, idk how to describe it, noticeable? With a curvature of the spine, muscles get pushed and have to go somewhere. So a person ends up off kilter. Well, the difference in my back muscles was less significant after the massage. That's amazing!! In this instance, less significant is a good thing. Like, you wouldn't want to have one leg longer than the other, right? I'm sorry if I'm in a session and you're waiting in the lobby for your first appointment. It might sound like he's killing me . But... if you wait to ask me afterwards how I feel, I'll give you a resounding, "I FEEL AWESOME!" Definitely worth checking out. I've only had 2 of the 3 sessions that I bought. But, I can see making this part of my regular self care and maintenance routine.
