We do traditional navel piercing. We have done them on plus size people. Best thing to do is come in and and talk with us. Hard to know without seeing you.

This is the second time that I've been to the tattoo and piercing shop; the first time I went with a friend and also came in for a repiercing due to a hospitalization. I'm hoping this will be the last time that I go to this shop for a repiercing, but I will definitely come back here if I have to. Joslyn was extremely professional and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time during the piercing process by double checking that it didn't hurt. I had to purchase one of their steel titanium jewelry ($15 was the cheapest one) and was not allowed to use my own jewelry that I bought from Laughing Buddha. Which is totally understandable and makes sense as to why they don't use other jewelry outside of their own. I think it also specifies in their rules or contract that you're not allowed to bring in outside jewelry, but I would call to make sure. I also did not like that they didn't have a more comfortable waiting/seating area. Those tiny chairs on wheels are not really plus-sized friendly and I would have appreciated a regular chair instead of those. The online booking experience for an appointment within 3 days was easy to use on their website. I believe there was a $5 security deposit that goes into your overall total at the end of your piercing/tattoo session. In fact, my piercer Joslyn even emailed me to ask questions about my piercing history and whatnot. I really appreciated her attentiveness to detail and for taking the initiative to understand her customer's needs. Overall, I had a pleasant experience with my piercer Joslyn and would highly recommend her for your piercing needs. Thanks again!!

We've also met the owner and today we met a beautiful female artist with red locks that also works there, and I've been to lots of shops in my life and this shop is by far my favorite vibe. Bad experience with Jack Mauk. Gave a deposit for the first tattoo, a geisha with a dragon that takes up the entire outside of my thigh from knee to hip. Ended up being exceptionally cheap for how big the tattoo was and how long it took him to complete. During the tattoo he made kisses towards the vagina on the geisha that he was tattooing. Pretty weird and red flag. Second tattoo, no deposit required for some reason, but he charged me double the amount of the first tattoo for a much smaller and wayyy less detailed tattoo on my calf. I guess not responding to the kissing towards the tattoo or being receptive in general to his weird vibe caused a pricing change for the second tattoo. When called out on the pricing changes and cringy "flirting" he told me I was not welcome back to the shop. At first I was really upset by his treatment, especially because I wanted to return to see Damien for another tattoo, and was going to contact Tom, the owner. But I have found better artists at shops like Classic Fullerton and Roseland Tattoo that would never dream of treating a client the way Jack treated me. Not the smartest business move and just all around weiiiirrdd.
