Autozone - If you buy your battery here they may be able to install it for no additional charge. Pun intended.

What I like best about this Autozone is that they are in the same plaza as an Advance Auto Parts…read more If one doesn't have a part, I can walk to the other. I came here to get a battery replaced. I called ahead and they confirmed they had it in stock. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and helped me perfectly. They even installed the battery at no charge. This is my spot moving forward.

YOTZIL R. was and is the MVP. My car was giving issues this morning and I was already freaking out…read morebecause I couldn't start my car I didn't know if my car had any problems and with this being a brand new car I am still paying you can imagine the stress. So I decided to head to Auto zone to check my battery and check engine light which also turned on which can explain the amount of frustration I was already having . When I came to the store and assure me he would be right with me as the store was pretty busy. This G.O.A.T of a man took his time and when I asked him questions he was honest and kind. The problem of the car was the battery so he checked my battery replaced it since I had warranty and when I asked if he could recheck the diagnostic he did and even erased check engine light since the problem was the battery. The fact that he took his time made me feel at peace with the situation and made sure I was able to leave satisfied is beyond what he should have done. If you come to location ask for him you won't regret it. It felt good that I could talk to someone who not only care about my situation but also was kind and patient with me during this time. 100/100 I would again just for this guy right here.

I came here wanting to get a quote on how much getting my car A/C and passenger rear view window…read morefixed would cost. The owner told me a simple dye test should do the trick to check the A/C. Hours after dropping my car off to do this test, they call me with an appalling list of things needed to be fixed in my car to the tune of over $3,500. One of which was leaking coolant, which I had fixed less than a year ago elsewhere. I went to my last mechanic to use the warranty from this repair. However, he was able to physically show me that there was no leak. I went to check everything else on this list of repairs Everything Automotive claimed I needed, and only 2 of the 5 repairs were actually true. I agreed to get my mirror changed at Everything Automotive and nothing else. But the owner wouldn't take my no for an answer on getting everything they listed repaired, and tried pressuring me to scare me saying my car was a ticking time-bomb. It wasn't. When I came to get my car an hour after the full diagnostics I didn't ask for was finished, the owner said he needed more time to "do what he needed to do still." Slightly concerning since there was nothing we agreed to repair yet, and of course when leaving, my car ran worse than it did when I got there. As a girl alone in Florida as I finish up my education, it's so disappointing to see the lengths people will go to swindle others. The owner states to have helped lots of fellow students from my school which worries me how many other people were suckered into spending money on things they didn't need from here. Do yourself a favor, and find an honest mechanic like Vimar up the block across the street from Full Sail University to help you with all your needs!

Decided to come here after going to three other car repair shops to get my Ac fixed and everytime…read morethey ended up not fixing the actual problem. When I brought my car in and I told him that this was a repeat problem he did a deep look through and replaced parts of my AC and I haven't had a problem with my AC since. I am so grateful. Please check these guys out they really do care about their work. I will be using them for all my car services in the future.

Recently I needed a part for one of my "vintage" cars, a 1977 Buick. I went to the yellow store, where the man said he could get it for me "Later today." He didn't give me a price. The second store, where the professional mechanics go, had it at the Tampa warehouse, and could "get it by tomorrow. $23.95." O'Reillys had it in stock for $10.99. This was my first visit to this clean, new, well stocked store, but I'm sure it won't be my last. The shelf prices on things like oil, filters, and accessories seemed to be as good as or better than the other kids on the block, too. Even Wal Mart. Check their website for ads and specials. Plus, they have some motorcycle parts, and some lawn equipment items. They DO loan specialty tools and most locations will turn brake drums/rotors for you!. If you change your own oil, they'll recycle the old dirty oil for you. They'll test your battery, alternator and some other systems for free.
