Why do you keep putting save the children and other donations ads on two to three ads in a row I'm sick of watching them I mute them every time I'm not I harsh person but frankly its the same as when Centrelink paid mothers thousands more money for having more children same with these countries what other normal people can afford to have more than two children these families are having six or more to get benifits and donations men and women without kuds get no donations so they are bringing more and more kids into poverty and blindness when they can't afford to feed themselves I'm sick of it one ad I understand but two or three that go a few more minutes than all other ads why should I have to see teb minutes or more of this shit please stop it now its like forcing religion into people preaching we should have a choice read more

Channel 10 in Adelaide is housed in a really pleasant modern building on Hutt St at the edge of the city. While the internal glass elevator offers great views of the news floor on your way up, the security is tight. On arrival you are required to report to security and sign in. They will then call whoever you are visiting and they are required to come down and escort you in. In short, a lovely professional and purposeful space where they shoot the local news. The building also houses Eye corp (They control the advertising space on most of the billboards around Adelaide). If you're in the area you may even be fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of a man on the balcony in a gold suit and top hat.... now that's news for ya! read more

Whilst you may not be able to actually BUY any form of product from Adelaide's Channel Ten, I am reviewing it because I was a work experience student a few years ago and hope my experience might help others when looking for places to intern in the journalism industry. First of all, they generally only accept students for work experience for three consecutive days and if you would like to do longer you may have to discuss this with the HR girl who is in charge of the work experience students. Secondly, if you are a nervous or really shy person I would highly recommend choosing elsewhere. Since moving from a one hour bulletin to a one and a half hr show, the pressure on the journalists and team to create more news everyday is immense and as such they are incredibly busy. So to make the best of your work experience you need to make yourself be known and put your hand up to go out on jobs with the journalists and be willing to be involved in whatever they ask of you. It is exciting though to be in the studio where everything happens, and if they ask you to stay longer and watch the show, do it! It is really cool to see them filming live just metres from you! read more
