I hired Camman Abilities, operated by Cameron Brown, to perform handyman work at my property…read more During the project, he recommended applying a deep-pour epoxy resin to seal the surface of my BBQ countertop and a patio picnic table. Unfortunately, during the application process, the resin spilled extensively onto the surrounding paver decking beneath the outdoor kitchen bartop and beneath the table area, resulting in significant damage and staining to the pavers. In an attempt to remedy the issue, Mr. Brown rented a power washer; however, he only retained the machine for approximately three hours, including a two-hour round-trip commute to a Home Depot in the far East Valley, which left him with about one hour of actual cleaning time on site. This effort was ineffective in removing the resin from the pavers. Subsequently, Mr. Brown proposed applying a wet-look sealer over the affected areas to conceal the resin stains. This solution failed to resolve the issue, and the paver damage remained visible In addition to this, Mr. Brown was contracted to complete other projects, including the installation of a steel border on the driveway and gutter covers, both of which were left incomplete after numerous delays and weeks of unsuccessful attempts to have him return and finish the work. When I reached out to Mr. Brown to address the damage to the pavers and to request that he complete the outstanding work for which he had already been paid, he responded by sending me a cease and desist letter, rather than making any effort to rectify the situation.

After my maintenance man repainted an apartment part of the kitchen outlets quite working. They spent hours retracing what they had done with no luck. I remember getting an email flyer from an electrician so I looked it up and gave them a call. Jake came out and checked to see what was not working with his tester. 15 minutes later he noticed we had painted and asked if we had removed the light fixtures. We had and he found the problem in the second fixture he checked and got everything working. He tried to explain what we had done but it was a bit too complicated for us. The $120.00 fee was a bargain seeing as I had paid 2 of my own guys each half a days pay to find nothing. I have used them several times since and never been disappointed.

His task was to open the fan and clean whatever had gummed up the motor. However, he did not make an attempt to actually repair it. He was about to bring it back untouched due to a cosmetically damaged nut that he claimed could not be removed for fear of being able to get it back on--it's a nut, I took it off with my fingers--but I coaxed him into trying. Claiming he had "got it running" (which I now see was a very specific choice of words,) he brought it back, took my $145, and left. The only thing this man did was spray it with WD-40 from the outside, which i know because he did not clean the massive splattered WD-40 off the base. He openly and knowingly cheated me. When I tried to contact him after it almost immediately siezed again, no reply. Don't hire him.

I also emphasized that no debris in the pool. "Stage One"cut the decking that was cracked in the return pool and hot tub water filtration! Two , replaced with decking cut out with cement and rebar. He showed up with a cordless drill to cut out the cement at morning later than expected, worked 2 hours and left. I expected he would return but came back 2 days later! I discussed with him, after he replied he will return to place new cement, that he didn't do what was agreed to do! He needs to finish cutting out the cement and rebar that was failing! On top of all that the cement and pieces of rebar ended up in the pool! On his second visit he had another man to help. He expected that other man to hold up the cement with small plywood until it hardened! The man was in the water almost the whole day, but I suggested he use some of landscaping blocks to support the plywood! He departed to another job bid , left for perhaps 4 hours! The other man was in the pool trying to recover rocks ,rebar and cement fragments. I had the pool pump shut down for 4 days, I lowered the pool about 1 foot to level he requested at the start! Upon his return on Friday, he said that he would address the final cosmetic repair! He attempted to pour cement, grind it down and left it in the shape it's currently in! He said he would address the finish when he returns for the second stage of painting the whole pool decking! I told him I would think about the second stage because it was another cost and different contract! I don't think I can give him the second stage because the first stage was not done to my expectations! I suggested perhaps he could bring a wet dry vacuum to suck up all the sand , stones and debris that would damage the newer multi speed pump on the second visit, he was at Homedepot renting a proper cutting tool! I am left cleaning up the mess, cement and the decking, along with using pool filtration washing and now need to pressure wash the pool decking. I consider that the repair process was not very well thought out and he didn't have the proper equipment/ tools! He was a gentleman with good intentions, but I don't I can give a very good rating with the end results!
