I found this shop on yelp and then checked their google reviews, everything looked good so I called to set an appointment up. And she was able to get my daughter and I in at the same time the same day. I was amazed- I've never been able to schedule a haircut the same day. So that was awesome, but also kinda worries me, I'm not gonna lie! Lol. Anyway, we were a few minutes late because traffic and they were waiting for us and sooooo nice and happy to see us when we got there. I got Mary and my daughter got the other gal. Again, I was a bit worried, it's been over two years since my last cut and the entire time I was just convincing myself it was gonna be ok. I didn't tell them I was worried, they were so nice and friendly! Very Easy to talk to. I AM so glad I went here, I left with wet hair, so I wasn't exactly sure how it turned out. We came straight home and I dried and styled my hair. NO JOKE- this is the BEST haircut I've had in years!! YEARS!!! Thank you, Mary!!!! You did a fantastic job! I will certainly be returning and if I meet people, I'll certainly refer them to this salon. They spoke very highly of the owner of the shop and also their customers! The starter locs were not appealing to me and after a very positive and constructive discussion, Yvette, as true to her word on her website, did refund the fee for the locs, in fact she did refund more than what we had agreed upon was fair.
