My parents received fliers from Make a Wish asking for donations such as household items, toys, etc. Since they were incidentally in midst of moving, they went through things and neatly packaged 10+ large bags of toys and clothing, and household items. They called ahead to schedule a pickup and later also called to confirm and left messages. On the scheduled day (also written on the flyer), they set the items out on the curb during early morning waiting for pickup. Being senior folks themselves, they went through a lot of trouble and carried many bags of heavy items to the curb. Yet the donation pickup NEVER CAME. NO CALL NO SHOW NADA. At the end of the day, they had to go out and drag everything back themselves. With intentions to help and make a difference, they were left disappointed, angry and with an injured back. ORGANIZATIONS LIKE THIS SHOULD NOT BE SOLICITING FOR DONATIONS. THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED TO PUT THE DONATIONS TO GOOD USE. WE WILL NOT BE SUPPORTING THIS CAUSE AGAIN.

My kiddo still gets nervous going to her school of 2 years with her best friends there but going to this location for the first time, she felt so at ease she went and stayed 2 hours having fun while we got our first reasonably priced date night in 3 years. She literally looked like she was in timeout because of her crying. When you care for children, you are there for them no matter what/ no matter how many times you need to try. Taking care of children requires a special gift. They need our help constantly. 2. I picked up my son & I immediately saw his face was red, running nose & extremely hot. My son is able to speak & he told me he didn't feel good. I did not receive one phone call about my son. As a child care taker you should be more aware. Checking children constantly to make sure everything's okay. You could clearly tell something was wrong with him just by his nose running, redness on skin & just standing there like a statue. That clearly shows me that those adults don't pay close enough attention to catch something like that & my son was there for hours. He said he had been feeling that way since nap time (1pm, I picked him up around 5pm). This place of business needs way better discernment & wisdom when it comes to hiring the adults to care for children.
