Working at a desk job for almost 11 years, I had a lot of tension in my upper shoulders and I have been a chronic neck cracker for years, too. After my appointment I felt like it was the first time I could really relax my shoulders in years. She was able to implement the Webster technique to loosen up my joints and ligaments as well as adjust my back to allow for the baby to hopefully turn to the correct position. Normally, this technique is implemented over a period of weeks. Unfortunately I was unaware of the baby's position until I was full term. However, after seeing Dr. Ellis just once I did have a successful version (they are normally only successful a little over 50% of the time) and the baby was able to be flipped into the head down position by my OB.
