I am especially impressed by how much cider Scotia Beverage stocks - more than the few other smaller-sized CDNY Beverage Centers I've visited, for sure; notable since they've been open only a few months. In my procrastination ways, I didn't have time to special order a full sized bottle, and Englebardt's was out of stock - but they did have mini bottles of the vodka available which ended up made a great option for the gift basket we were building. Though he had plenty of unboxed bottles in the front of the store, the owner went into the back to find me an unopened, undamaged box of the minis to make a nice visual impact in the gift. The extra attention to detail went above and beyond for me; I've visited Englebardt's a few times since when picking up bottles for my own stock or hosting gifts, and will continue to visit when shopping in Schenectady in the future.

I was met by the most vulgar, loud rap music blaring and the profuse smell of marijuana. I almost walked back out, but I was there so I bought some wine. I will say clerk was friendly. It's just the atmosphere was so unpleasant and unprofessional. Sorry, not for me.
