I am trying to close on a home in Little falls so I went to my bank to have a certified check made…read morefor over $546k and sent it to the sellers attorney and when they deosited it to their bank at M&T Bank they stated it was a Fraud check(501 E Main St, Little Falls) they said the font was different then they said the check numbers were to another person not the name on the actual check, then they said it was acid washed. But they never not once tried to call my bank to see if the check was good! My bank spoke to their branch I sent them documentation to prove its good. My bank did fund the check. Every time they give a different excuse on why its no good but they will not lift a finger to contact my bank! My bank my branch and the main office stated as of today they still have not even called them for verification. They keep giving a run around. I even sent an email to the CEO last week and he nor his office have never responded. As a Gold member I was looking at brining my 5 different bank acconts to them but im having second thoughts now. I am CEO of my company and would never drag of allow my customers to have to go through things like this. My bank even stated there are several differen methonds to verify if a check is valid and they have not used them. I am starting to believe that they are using the money for short term trading! those who deal with stock trading know what I am talking about. There is no reason for such a delay and being my Bank funded my cerfiied check. M&T Bank needs to be investigated on proctices. I am looking at submitting a complaint to the CFPB as my issue has not been resolved as well as discuss options with my attorneys who have been handeling this process from the get go.

A few wind gusts and hardly any snow. Made it very difficult for me take cash out of the bank for my Christmas cards. It's NY in the winter...sounds like the workers in this branch don't want to work.
