Sardinia. When I think of how Sardinian food would taste I think of a nice home cooked dinner. This…read morerestaurant did a great job capturing that with their dishes. The first time we went was spectacular. All the dishes were amazing. We ordered the baked cheese with pears. The Sardinian steak with vegetables. The star of the night was the ricotta ravioli with pork. It was literally the best ravioli I've ever had. It was so pillowy soft and super light. I thought we ordered a lot of food but we devoured everything. Our waitress that evening was super attentive and friendly! Great service! The second time was sort of a miss. We Ordered the steak again and asked for rare and it wAs cooked well . That was a disappointment. We also ordered the baked cheese and fig but thought The pears went a lot better with the cheese. The asparagus and squash were okay . Wish they would've seasoned it more. The tiramisu wasn't my fave because they added orange peel but overall our first time was definitely a lot better. Although this place has some hits and misses I still would go back for the amazing ricotta ravioli !

Suckling pig to die for, amazing pastas including one with a super tasty potato stuffing, great caponata. Many good wines at 3-4 euros a glass. Only downside is it's popularity - try to make a reservation. Also - their cookies are incredible the next day with coffee. Don't miss this when in Olbia.
Chicken and peppers with local beer.

Definitely try their pesche (double cream filled donuts sandwiched together), diplomatici (crispy pastry layers with a cake layer mixed with cream) or their regular donut ciambelle which is fluffy and finger-lickingly scrumptious. It's all so good, it's bad for you because you'll want to eat them daily! The staff is generally nice. There is indoor and outdoor seating. If you're in Alghero, this is a must breakfast location.
