Dr. Nguyen and his office are the most unprofessional and incompetent practice I've ever been to…read more He unexpectedly discontinued my medication with no prior notice or reason, eventhough the medication has withdrawals symptoms when stopping cold turkey. The office manager Nicole screens phone calls, says the Dr. will call back, then both don't respond or followup. Not only would I avoid, I will be filing a complaint and making sure they don't continue to put other patients in jeopardy with their malpractice. Four separate times the office failed to send over my medication to pharmacist, which aren't even controlled substances, they are complete amateur hour. He gave me attitude over video calls, got upset at small things like my bluetooth interupting a video call for 20 seconds, then would be an hour late for our scheduled appointments. I once went into office for a 5pm meeting and he had me wait in lobby for an hour for a 5 minute meeting. He would pass blame when meds weren't sent over, same with front office admin. His go to threat, which I read in other reviews, is if you are a day late picking up your meds he will cut them in half or discontinue them all together, never heard of such a thing, like a Dr. Mob boss. The odd thing is he got me off of other meds I was on when I started there, then the meds he suggested discontinued for no reason without explanation. I can see why there are so many bad reviews over many platforms. Dr's have an obligation to look after their patients, and his office has shown they are unorganized, careless and borderline reckless with ignoring patients needs.

The previous time I did this, I was able to go during my lunch break. Here's what happened this time. First I got an email from PDS Medical on 12/24/25 reminding me I have an appointment on January 7th, 2026. I confirmed the appointment. Then I get an email on 12/30/25 reminding me I have an appointment and letting me know that I can save time by using e check-in. Done. I checked in using the online portal. Finally. I got a text message the morning of my appointment on Jan 7th again reminding me I have an appointment. Confirmed! My appointment was at 1:30pm, so I took a lunch break from 1:00pm-2:00pm. I showed up at 1:15pm. Checked in at the front desk. The receptionist, a very nice lady named Esmeralda charged me my $70 copayment. She emailed me my receipt. Receipt received in my email at 1:17pm. I waited in the lobby patiently. I was then called in at my appointment time exactly at 1:30pm. The assistant took my blood pressure & weight, then escorted me to the waiting room at 1:35. I sat in the waiting room until 2:00pm! Christine V. never showed up! I heard her walk into a room of a patient that showed up after me at 1:58pm! There was no communication from the staff letting me know they were short staffed. Nor was there any communication for warning me that the wait would be longer than expected. I left as soon as my lunch break ended 2pm (and returned to work late). I did let the nice receptionist know that no one ever came in the room to see me. She could tell I was upset when I walked out. Do you think anyone called me to apologize? No! Not during the drive home, nor during the remainder of the afternoon or evening! The next day I got a message from the MyChart portal letting me know my prescription refill was denied. The portion I paid for my blood work on 12/24, and the $70 copay for the office was a waste of money!
