The photographer graciously offered to reshoot our photos, then cancelled our reshoots twice, never got back to us, did not respond to inquiries for almost two weeks and then offered us a reshoot... in the spring. I understand that people get busy with holiday photos but since our photos (and payment) were taken back in the summer, our reshoot should have taken priority. I was heartbroken -- not just because I missed the chance to document my pregnancy, but because everything felt so overwhelming at the time. But what truly blew me away was the kindness and care Sophie showed. She continued to check in on me and my baby as time went on including throughout our NICU journey. A year later, I reached back out to book a baby session -- and it turned out to be even more special.
