Chris spent the time to get to know me and what my normal routine would be and gave me a cut that works for my hair texture, my features and my level of fussing (which is quite low). I've been so happy with the hair styling that I also scheduled my first ever Pedicure, and now I'm hooked! Great way to relax and feel pampered.

I had been going to another salon for years so I am sure you can understand that I was a little nervous about finding a new one. But after reading the great reviews here on Yelp, I decided to give this new salon a try. My hair designer is Shanna and she is AMAZING! I needed a color update after wearing the same color for about 8 years and she made me feel very assured that the new color she would give me would be perfect, and it was! Shanna has over 24 years experience as a hair designer and the results I received when I visited her demonstrated her experience. She's fun to talk to and friendly too! You can't go wrong here and if you need a hair update or facial, Shanna's your girl!

I think like most other things, some of the burden lies with the customer. Are you being honest about what treatments or chemicals you may or have added to your hair before your visit? Are you clearly communicating what you want and carefully listening to the stylist? Do you have realistic expectations? Also, like all good salons, if you're not happy they will rectify the error or issue. Case in point- I had an updo that I wasn't thrilled with- said something, and they re-did it no problem. The ladies there are super nice, they ARE trained and they DO continue their training. Give New Outlooks a try, I think you'll be pleased!

I had the pleasure of working with carol for 6 years !! You often find in the hair industry self driven selfish people who only have their personal interests in mind but that is not the case for Carol or anyone who works there. The benefit of this is that the clients are given an environment that is solely focused on them and giving them the ultimate experience from every direction. So if your looking for a new salon be sure to check out new outlooks obviously their doing something right considering she's been in business since the early 80's and continues to grow year after year!! I recently had my hair highlighted with Brianna C. Before getting my hair done by her, I had talked to her about what I was trying to achieve with my hair. She said that she could get my hair close to the photo. I told her over and over that I didn't want my hair to be toned dark because she had toned it dark in the past. I told her before the appointment and during the appointment. She ended up toning my hair dark, and left me with darker ends in comparison to the rest of the hair. After talking to her about how dissatisfied I was with my hair. She told me to come back and suggested a clarifying shampoo treatment to remove some of the toner. I ended up going back for the clarifying treatment and the toner did not lift the ends. That day she told me she didn't have time to re-highlight the ends so that I would need to come back again and make another appointment. I then contacted her to make the appointment and she told me that I would have to pay to get my hair highlighted again. I explained to her that I did not feel comfortable paying for the same service twice, since it was her error. I didn't hear back from her. Days later, she texted that she spoke to her "boss", I am assuming the salon owner and that she said it would not be complementary only toner. Moral of the story, don't go to this salon and expect to get what you want because they will not stand behind their work if they make a mistake. They will expect you to pay again for them to "hopefully" fix it. And don't be like me and pay them if you are unsatisfied before leaving the salon. People like this will do what's in their best interest, so learn to say no I am not paying you as I am not satisfied with your service. You shouldn't have to pay someone twice if they made a mistake, the right thing for them to do is to fix it or refund you!

Not only did I get dozens of compliments about my hair leading up to my wedding, but almost 2 months after I'm still getting them. Just a weekend ago I was in a bridal party where another salon owner styled my hair. She instantly recognized I had been in good hands and particularly admired Brenda's coloring skills, saying she did such a gorgeous job feathering the highlights and crafting such a lovely blonde. Just last night at another rehearsal dinner, I got comments on how "blonde bombshell" I've been looking and it's all attributed to Brenda. The day of my wedding Brenda was a true trooper. I had a whopping 6 bridesmaids, plus myself and a few spares floating around that Brenda also helped. I knew this was an exhausting day for her, but I'm blown away that she put in the extra energy and creativity to make everybody's hair unique and very personalized. All the girls hair suited them perfectly and nothing was "cookie-cutter". The hair she did on me was breathtaking. It was a hot day in August, and Brenda had the thoughtfulness to pull my hair to one side and put a braid in right at the nape of my neck as to keep the bulk of my hair off it. The hair was elegantly swooped with curls and twists, it was perfect. Brenda is a professional and an expert at her craft. Highly recommend.
