I had a terrible experience with Andy's painting. Prior to starting the job, I emphasized to the…read morecrew that we had recently installed new flooring in our home and that I was concerned about protecting the floors. I was assured that the floors would be covered during the duration of the project to ensure protection. Floor covering is specified in our contract but was not completed. Our floors were not covered. Instead, masking tape was placed on the floor in sporadic areas. I discussed this with our project manager Kris and the painting crew after realizing that they weren't going to cover the floors and again re-emphasied my concerns, however the floors were still not covered. The tape job was not adequate, and paint got all over the stairs and flooring. The crew attempted remove the paint using an abrasive orbital buffer and a sharp hand tool. This caused multiple steps to be scratched and gouged. The crew caused $622.08 worth of damage to our new flooring. Andy's website states "We perform the work. We do not subcontract our painting work. All our painters are employed by Andy's painting." The original painters and our project manager Kris both informed me on the first day that the crew were indeed sub-contractors. The painter said that it was only his second day working with Andy's. Obviously, this was frustrating and a willful misrepresentation by Andy's. We did not expect or agree to have the job subcontracted. Especially by someone who lacked the skill to complete the job. Areas that were not to be painted received paint. Including the stair risers, handrail and doors. The handrail was even painted a different color without my consent or prior knowledge. The lack of attention to detail was astounding. We had to babysit the entire project. I had to ask multiple times to have simple tasks like filling nail holes or having walls textured completed. All of these items were agreed to in our contract. However, there were constant excuses from the crew and attempts to cut corners. I was told "you probably don't need 2 coats of paint" and "you can't see those holes." ect. It was tiresome to have to repeatedly insist that they complete the job as we had agreed. The first crew was fired by the project manager after 2 days. In total, 3 different crews worked on our project trying to get it right. On the very first day I was told that the job would be completed in 1 day. The job ended up taking 5 days. The doors were painted using a sprayer in our driveway. The driveway was not protected properly and there was white paint sprayed all over our driveway. The doors were initially put back on wet causing the paint to be damaged, door hinge pins upside down, missing screws ect. The crew does not arrive on time. They were at least 30 minutes late on 4 different occasions. Multiple crew members told me that Andy's will hire anyone and that they don't check references or require any demonstration of proficiency or skill prior to be hired. Overall, it was a bad experience. I was expecting a much more professional experience and result. Andy's did agree to pay for the damage and did some additional work on removing the paint from our stairs and flooring. I would not recommend hiring Andy's Painting.

Three people showed up in separate, vehicles to give me a quote on potentially insulating the roof…read moreof a carport that I'm enclosing. One went up on the roof immediately cutting a 6"x6" hole in my rubber membrane roofing material that is still under warranty. I was just asking for a quote to see if it's feasible for me to do what I'm hoping to do here. Then they said he cut a core sample- are you kidding? without asking??? Who cuts a hole in someone's roofing material then applies some inappropriate calking that doesn't hold and says to me, "I just cut a slit at the top near the parapet and stuck my finger in". He made all the gestures and was very clear about describing a slit. Even worse when I called them out that this is destroying my warranty she belittles me by saying it's his language barrier and he didn't want to belittle me???? Don't let these people near your roof without climbing up there with them. They think they are pretty smart but cutting a hole in someone's roof without permission is not smart. The guy that came after them to also give a quote said, just to let you know, someone cut a hole in your membrane so I took a picture of it. He was shocked they did that and he is a representative of a big roofing company. So yeah now I have photos. It's called destroying property, lying about it, excusing their behavior then bragging about how capable they are.

This company's quote fell within the range we knew roofing should be for our size of house and they told me they could fit me in by the end of the month. They supplied things the other company were going to charge for and pointed out something we didn't even know we were missing from our home but after checking into it - yes we definitely should have had all along! They did a fabulous job, worked diligently for two days and finished up the last bits of things the third day in under an hour. The roof looks fabulous and the job they did was A+. Their initial quote was given to me while they were standing there after looking at my roof and it actually came in to exactly what I was quoted in the end, which surprised me and pleased me greatly! Fantastic roof, amazing service, and every person I dealt with was kind and patient. I've already recommended them to two people who need new roofs soon!

Starting with our first call and working with the Schedulers: Illyn, Judy and Katia to get the estimate done and work scheduled. They were readily available to answer questions. Sales persons Dusty and Alex who visited our home to assess the work. Dusty provided us with a very reasonable and fair price for the project. We needed to address water stains from a 2023 roof leak in three ceiling areas, as well as hairline cracks from the house settling over the last 22 years. The team arrived promptly at 8:00 AM. Chris, the Crew Leader, clearly explained the work plan and how the team would proceed. Matt, the Lead Painter, along with Alexis and Kay, worked exceptionally well together. Their attention to detail was evident, and the final result is beautiful. Furthermore, when we decided to add two additional walls to the project, Matt provided an estimate immediately and the team transitioned into that work without a hitch.
