I recently had a service engine light which when diagnosed by a local dealer, came with a $1200 repair estimate. I took the car to Tony and had the car quickly repaired for $440, which was a reasonable charge for the work required. Not only did they talk down to me about it like I was an idiot, but when I told them it was too much and I'd rather do it myself, they lied to me saying I needed an $8,000 scan tool to perform the required learn procedure. If they were honest, and knew what they were talking about, they'd know you do not need a scan tool to do the procedure, you can find the instructions on how to do it online and without an $8,000 scan tool. This alone has turned me off from ever going here again. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because they treated us good for the tire work that was done.

They replaced the fuel pump on my vehicle, but didn't let me know that I needed a new fuel tank filler neck. Instead, they did some backyard fix by disconnecting the tank from the filler neck and added a vent that ended up freezing over when it started snowing. Now my vehicle smells like gas and keeps spitting gas out when I try to refill the tank. Instead of doing some shady backyard repair, let the customer know. I would prefer my vehicle to be fixed properly. Now I have to have another shop repair it properly.
