The owner is really what makes this place so fantastic. He knows the locals, he knows every detail about the food he's selling, and gives great pairing recommendations. It's got a "come one, come all!" type of atmosphere which keeps the pretentious snobs at bay, yet you'll see just about every kind of person in here regardless of age or social status. Some work colleagues told me about and i've been going back for special occasions ever since. They have a great selection of meats and the most gorgeous cheeses including yummy Welsh varieties as well as traditional Italian. OH and the freshly made cakes and bread, its just too good. Simple honest, top quality ingredients, cooked by someone who loves what they do. My only concern would be that seating just 15-18 people at a time means once this little gem gets out, it will be impossible to get a table. The menus are on the walls, all around you, which is a bit weird when 'mom' arrives at the table and asks what you would like 'pop' to make you for breakfast.
