Previous service here has been great. However, when my insurance rates were raised to a…read moreridiculously high number, with zero claims, getting a better quote became problematic. I kept hearing excuses why the quotes were so high and when I did finally get a quote I was happy with, it magically raised by $500 once I decided to move forward with it. Again, when I asked why the quote was not accurate, I was given more excuses. Meanwhile, I got 3 new quotes, all of which were significantly less, offered higher coverage and were 100% accurate, meaning that the brokers or insurance agency promised the pricing wouldn't be raised once I agreed to the new policy. Insurance is tough already. A broker can help you wade through the mess. Once that broker becomes part of the problem, I suggest finding a new one. I shouldn't have to spend hours finding new policies because of the limited options and communication of the person who merely exists as a middleman between the customer and the insurer.

If you are looking to switch insurance companies, I recommend Steve M., Tier One insurance agent…read more Tier One may be able to find you a better auto and home insurance premium. I switched to them and have been happy with their customer service. Since Tier One is not the insurance company they can give you unbiased advice. You can ask Steve questions without starting a claim. If you call your insurance company with a few questions, they sometimes start a claim that remains on your account, which increases your premium. I got a lower rate for home and auto (saved $1200 in August) because he checks many reputable companies all at once. They only deal with national brand name insurance companies. Steve answers all of my questions about rates, possible claims, and really anything that would affect my insurance. Steve takes the time to explain everything in detail.
