Jon was very knowledgeable about the lumber-mill that our red oak floors came from originally, and did a great job sanding and finishing with a satin poly. A section was previously patched with a piece of plywood before carpet was installed and Jon was able to remove the plywood and replace with new red oak boards. Jon was unhappy with how the old and new red oak floors looked after applying poly and hand sanded the patched board and stained the new wood to nearly perfectly match the old red oak. read more

Jon Adams if by far the best floor guy in WV. This is the 2nd home I have asked Jon to resurface. Once in 2006 and last week April 2021. Jon does superb work. His recommendations to replace the shoe molding were spot on. He purchased the materials and installed it PERFECTLY. Its looks better than new. This floor was 1500sqft of 1954 OAK. He made it look brand new. Truly unbelievable. If a person listens to Jon as he describes the issues, the end result would be better than expected. Jon is trustworthy as i left him the key to my home. I just can't say enough good things. read more

Jon just finished refinished the floors in my recently purchased 1951 farm house. 2 bedrooms have Birch, Beech, and Maple intermixed with multiple old vent holes that needed to be patched. Jon used maple to patch with and they look great. The living room we thought was red oak but once he started sanding and took up some boards to replace and patch the vent holes in there he realized were Ash. He used red oak to patch these holes and stained the boards to match the natural ash. Floors were sealed and then coated with 2 coats of satin finish. His price was VERY reasonable considering the amount of work he had to do. Highly recommend. read more

Jon sanded and refinished my oak hardwood floors in my upstairs bedrooms, hallway and closets. The project was about 350 sf in total. Jon told me the job would take 3 or 4 days, and Jon finished in 3 days. The floors look great and the cost was very reasonable. read more

A couple areas of my white oak flooring had been repaired with red oak, john said it would look bad once he was done as he would not be able to match the flooring, I purchased white oak flooring and paid John to install it. when John finished the patches looked terrible did not even come close to the original flooring John said it was the best he could do. as I was installing the shoe molding I notice lots of exposed nail heads. I called John about it his reply was I could set the nails if I wanted to I informed him he was paid to do it but he would not return. would NOT recommend this company. read more
