So romantic talks and quiet walks are all good - as is a little Smokey Robinson on the MP3 player to get "the mood" going, but sometimes in these modern times, spicing things up with a little modern technology is what it takes.....to take it to the next level with your baby. Adam & Eve is a nice little establishment tucked away across the road from Concord Mills. It is so tucked away I had to walk around the building to figure out where to go in and then I was surprised to find it is located on the 2nd floor of the building. I overheard one of the nice sales people tell another customer they have been in this location for over 2 years, but I just happened to stumble across it trying to get to the Wal-Mart (another story and another review - and no they are not related*wink*). Why visit this location on a whim.........well I won't go into my personal purchase because as a Southern gentleman, my momma raised me to not to talk about such things *grin*. The store occupies a portion of the 2nd floor which appears to have no other tenants on that level. Spacious and well laid out, women's dress up clothes and undergarments (see Southern gentleman comment above) are to the left with the counter in the center and videos, lubes, toys, straps, gags, and bachelorette party items to the right. This place has just about everything you could want to use or experiment with behind your closed bedroom door or give a fantastic gag gift to a friend.......or enemy. Sales folks were nice, answered several of my questions and were helpful in pointing me in the direction of the items I was looking for in the store. In addition to your standard sex stuff, then also stock costumes which would be a sort of "alternative" place to look for Halloween. They even carry organic type items for any vegans out there. This is a great little place to get what you want for who you need to do........so-to-speak. read more

Employees were rude. Boxes looked like they were busted. Asked for a price check at the register because there was no price on the sticker. Employee called the manager and manager rudely said "We can't sell it to you" uhm, okay. That's fine, not our fault it was on the shelf. I apologize for being an inconvenience and asking. The customer service rep, instead of helping me, she kept saying that i put the wrong address when i placed the order. THEY SOLD ME A USED PRODUCT! My package arrived March 17. I didn't have time to check it out until today. First off, I opened the package and noticed that the free offer that I had a coupon for was NOT THERE. Upon opening the package I did receive, I noticed there was a slimy substance on the outside of it. Upon further investigation I noticed there was lube, and what seems to be someone's bodily fluids, inside and outside all of them. THEY HAD BEEN USED. This is the first time I've opened the package.... I am beyond disgusted that they would send me something covered in someone else's bodily fluids. That is not only HIGHLY illegal but also a very serious HEALTH RISK. That persons fluids could have any kind of disease! I will NEVER order from them again. This is the most horrendous thing I've ever seen. And to top it all off, when I emailed customer service they didn't even apologize or anything. She told me they don't "see used items". I'm done with Adam and Eve online and have found other much more tasteful and discreet companies to purchase from. I don't appreciate porn delivered to my inbox every day when I opt in to receive special offers and news. I got so sick of getting inappropriate emails, I had to opt-out/unsubscribe. I don't watch porn dvd's, but they sent me something nearly every day describing their new pornos and all of the sex acts, slave boys/girls, etc... what!? I don't need that junk. They should tailor their emails to what suits their buyers (ie male vs female, sex preferences, etc.). Also, I have young kids at home- what if they opened my inbox and saw this? Have some respect, Adameve.com. I just want to go to a safe place and buy sex toys. Also, they shipped all of my items in cheap bubble mailers and all of them arrived squished or boxes damaged. I spent over $100 for a particular item and I would have thought they could at least ship it in a box. When I called to express concern for that, they could care less! The store is ok. Prices are a bit too high but I guess it is normal since it is a specialty store. The sales girls were nice, friendly and ready to answer any questions. However, the management is a different story. Here is my story. I bought several items for the bachelorette party (over $60) in this store. Most of them were gifts for the bachelorette but I also bought a game ($17) to play if we needed something fun to start off the party. The party went very well but we didn't use the game since there were other plans made by other girls. So I thought I will come back and exchange the game to something different that I could use since there were no more bachelorette parties planned in a near future. The game was still in a plastic wrap with a price attached. You could clearly see that it was not opened or used. I also had a original receipt and it was within 30 days. The store management refused to exchange the gift because of their policy: no returns. I was shocked. I did not need my money back, I just wanted to exchange it for something that I could use. Keep the game and let it collect dust somewhere on a shelf and never ever open it? No, thank you. I could definitely find a better use for $17. Don't take me wrong, I totally understand such policy pertaining to the items that were opened or used, nobody wants to lose money. However, exceptions can always be made for things like a brand new still in plastic game that was never opened and can be easily resold. I had to argue with the management for some time until finally they agreed to exchange the item. I was very upset I had to go thru such a hassle for a simple exchange.
