This restaurant is set in a stunning location. Cleopatra Baths are visible from the outdoor seating area.
The menu is typical for the region, but I think the prices were almost double what we have been paying at other similar venues. The quality of the food did not warrant the high prices.
We started with Rocket Said which was very good. And an Artichoke Heart with carrot and tomato. This was tasty, but not something I will dream about in years to come.
Our main courses were grilled chicken, lamb and meatballs. The chicken was quite average, served with chopped onions, spicy sauce, one small grilled pepper, and a grilled tomato which was cold. Like it had been grilled an hour before I ordered.
The grilled meatballs were very tasty and cooked expertly. The lamb chops grilled were tasty and cooked well.
We had cocktails before our meal. They were well made but again a bit higher priced than we have been paying in similar type restaurants.
The venue is beautiful. They have a dock si you can cruise or dinghy over from your anchorage. You sit at waterside tables with monogrammed plates and white table cloths. The staff is attentive, but not very chatty because of the language barrier. I had questions about the menu that did not get answered because of it. read more
