That's Entertainment previously got a 4 star review from me, but I feel it deserves 2 because:…read more - Some of the pricing is over the top compared to the likes of Amazon. - Trade in prices are poor - The Music is a little too loud in this store - It is 2 floors and they is no disabled access - Trade ins can only take upstairs which is weird and unjustifiable - Compared to nearby competition, this does not really stand out - Design and layout of the store not very good compared to nearby competition, seeming less modern. This store does have some nice staff and okay prices but the negatives above means I think it does only deserve 2 stars, the company does have some good offers such as free delivery, which is rare today, with Amazon for example you have to spend £20 but I am reviewing the store and I agree this is a 2 star warranting store. UPDATE: This store has now closed and has been for many months now and after some consideration I can understand why, especially with the poor nature of this store and the decline being shown especially in the days and weeks before the store eventually was closed with no prior warning to customers.

Look at newspapers, music and tv - things are moving so fast that sometimes it's hard to keep up with the newest and best ways to watch a movie, listen to a song or read that killer article. It's strange that in the same high street where HMV has reduced from 3 giant superstores to 1 (which is shutting after Christmas), one store selling CD's, DVD's and boxsets is absolutely booming. And this my friends is simply down to 2 things: 1. What must be razor thin margins on the products they sell, often out pricing Amazon most of the time. 2. Fans or completists of physical media must buy it and own the product still. That's Entertainment is perfect for picking up cheap DVD's for a present, or if you can't be bothered with the likes of Netflix/Lovefilm then getting a few in for the weekend. Their 2 for £5 and 3 for £5 deals being particularly attractive. If you still buy CD's, there's loads of classic albums throughout but you're probably not going to find that rare Japanese import you've been after for a while. New releases and box sets are stocked on release date, usually in small numbers but realistically priced to make you afford and enjoy the interaction with a human as opposed to needing to go online and wait for it to be delivered. Considering it's a bit of a bargain basement, I've always found the staff to be friendly, very knowledgable and lovers of music and movies.
