Absolutely excellent. One of the best massages I've had and felt super relaxed afterwards. She got all major muscles in my body. Would go back weekly if I lived in Bray read more

Hi, I'm David Hankey and I work at David Hankey Acupuncture Cork. I have been studying and practicing oriental health systems for more than 30 years. I practice Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Shiatsu (Japanese acupressure), Tuina (Chinese therapeutic massage), and Reflexology. I also teach Tai Chi and Qigong in classes and on a one to one basis. These exercises are highly beneficial for maintaining optimal health. A primary focus of Traditional Chinese Medicine is on prevention, rather than cure, so it is always good to have a treatment - you don't need to have any symptoms!
History
Established in 1996.
I first began to practice yoga in 1980. I began to practice Aikido, Zen meditation and Chi Kung three years later. I practice Zen meditation with Hogen Daido Yamahata of Chogenji temple in Japan. My Chi Kung teacher is Prof. Wu Tian Chung of Nanjing China. I studied "Wild Goose Chi Kung" and Medical Chi Kung. Since 2010, I have been studying Taoist Internal Arts with Taoist Master Tian Liyang of Wudang Shan, China. I began to study TCM in 1993 with The Acupuncture Foundation in Dublin. I have trained in Ireland as well as Nanjing TCM University. I am a member of the Acupuncture Council of Ireland, the representative body of Acupuncture and TCM practitioners in Ireland.
