Absolutely terrible experience. This company has shown zero respect for the people in the neighborhood. I have personally had one of their tow trucks cut me off at a red light, and on another occasion they parked their truck in my driveway with the flashers on, waking up my kids. To make matters worse, the employees I dealt with were rude and dismissive instead of apologizing. Basic courtesy and professionalism shouldn't be too much to ask. Between the unsafe driving, blocking my driveway, and the lack of respect for residents, I would never recommend this company. Predatory towing company with zero compassion or decency. In less than 15 minutes, just enough time to drop off a heavy package (move-in in the building where they took the car) with my wife and 6-month-old baby, my car was already on their truck. No warning, no conversation, just the cold satisfaction of trapping and charging people. Worse: we strongly suspect something belonging to my wife was stolen from the glove compartment during/after tow. If confirmed, this won't stop at a complaint; we will take it all the way. Tom at Action Towing was AMAZING. We had a tricky situation with a leased car left in our driveway that was in probate (someone else's car) that Toyota should have towed to its own lot months before. We got multiple quotes on towing it which ranged from $135-425 and Tom told us he works with Toyota Financial all the time and said he picks TF leased cars up at no charge TF reimburses him. Rude and unreasonable. I witnessed the dispatcher tell a customer he lives in America and should speak English--seriously classy. They towed my car from a parking lot where I was a customer less than an hour after I shopped. They refused to put the right time stamp on the receipt. Parked in a visitor parking spot at an apartment complex was there less then an hour and got an alert on my phone that my car alarm was going off went down to check it out and my car was gone. They claimed I needed a visitor sticker which is ABSURD when parked in a visitor spot! Charged 225 dollars for towing my car 5 miles up the road when they took it without reason!!! The dork in the office with the glasses behind the glass thinks he is tuff because he is behind the glass and can charge whatever he wants and steal peoples car. Total POS THIEVES!!!! These guys towed my girlfriend from her own spot, then refused to give my money back before returning her vehicle. This place doesn't make change and just keeps the difference. These guys are straight up thieves, they take your property and hold it ransom. My friend got towed for an illegal park and the on-call person wouldn't pick up the phone at 2:30 am because he or she was presumably sleeping, and then they had the nerve to charge my friend for an overnight fee after he had to pay for an uber to go home 25 miles away. I wish I can give less than one star because this place has horrible service in every sense of the word. I would rather go to the DMV for six hours than deal with these people again. read more

The owner towed my car from 495 exit 3 to my home in Uxbridge. He saved me a huge headache and he is an extremely nice likeable person. Easy going and very reasonable prices saving you money. It was a 50 mile tow and he gave me a ride. Got to know him a little and he has young kids at home please support him, hard worker. A friend of mine was towed in January by action towing. The cash fee was paid to action towing for the towing charge and storage at the tow yard. My friend wanted his car towed out of the lot by another tow company. His choice, right? Not so fast, action towing charged $110 to release the car from action towing yard because action towing wasn't towing the car to another location, rather another tow company was. I believe this is a probably a typical practice, but is a form of "kidnapping" his car to release it. If this is legal it should be illegal!!! It is a bad business practice and I would not recommend ever using action towing. read more

I live in a complex where this company is responsible for towing cars that are parked in resident parking spots. This company towed my car with a permit sticker. When I cles.to her my car back they lied and said I was taking up 2 parking spaces which I was not and charges me over 200 to get my car back. Recently, this company came back out and I looked out my window and saw them hooked up to my car which has a sticker to park. I asked them to let my car down they told me I need a sticker which I have. I had to point out the sticker In broad daylight. The employees were laughing in my face causing me unnecessary anxiety and stress. They were condescendingly telling me to have a better day. One had an obnoxious high pitched laugh sounding like a teenage girl. I was so upset. This company barely does their job. They should be out here nights and weekends. Which they are not. I frequently have to ask the neighbors company to move their car so I can park. Which I shouldnt have to do since this company is paid ro make sure residents can park. I called to speak with some kind of supervisor and was put off. I asked for the owner and was told no ody speaks ro the owner. They transferred me to the "legal department" which was a joke. I have witnessed this company sit on cars parked without stickers and wait for the owner of the vehicle to come out and give them the option of paying before the car is up on the truck bed.
