Action is great. I was going there for years. But about 4 months ago I found a place in post falls idaho called universal metals. It's a 1 man operation and you have to make an appointment. I take a lot of metal in . universal metals pays so much better there prices vary slightly from week to week. Here's what they normally pay. $3.60, $3.50, $3.40 a pound for striped copper, $210 a pound for brass, $1.70 a pound for copper/ aluimium radiators. 20 cents a pound for batteries, 80 cents a pound for aluminum Rims, 55 cents a pound for chrome wheels, 80 cents a pound and down for aluminum if it's cut in 3 feet lengths or less. Brass radiators $2.00 a pound And top dollar for catalytic converters. They don't take cans. They pay way more 50 to 60 cents more a pound for copper and brass and double what spokane area pays. The guy is friendly and pays you in cash. I cash in over $4000.00 of metal in a u haul truck. I highly recommend this place, I like action but if you can make more it's worth it taking it to universal metals. read more

Don't waste your time "shopping" which recycler pays top dollar for your scrap because you'll always find Action always pays the highest. Family owned & operated they do a great job getting you in and out quickly. This place is total sketch. Stopped by to recycle a catalytic converter and the guy told me since it was aftermarket, and had a bad weld job on the pipe connecting to exhaust it was worth $3.00. Went to pacific and found out it was worth $54.00. Would do 0 stars if allowed. read more

I took my aluminum over to Action because they were closest to my home. The drop off area was rather congested and small--three parking spaces next to the aluminum bin, with other vehicles parked nearby. The service was very good, a staff member came over to assist me, and there was only a short wait, as they needed to re-calibrate the weighing computer. My only complaint, as such, was that on their webpage there was a review from Foursquare stating to mention their name for an additional bonus. I did so, and was suprised when the people I spoke to had never heard the name before, shaking their heads. read more
