Stay away from these guys, especially from Paul Yemm. Don't buy his big mouth, you would not hear back from him for weeks, nor you would be able to get an update from their highly unprofessional and sometimes rude office. Instead I heard Paul saying that I as his client was lying that he was not providing updates on the claim status. At some point he forgot providing some paperwork to the insurance, which slowed down processing. If you don't want to listen to his statements about how bad is your insurance and how difficult it is to deal with homeowners associations, stay away from him. read more

I had water damage in my basement and hired Action Adjustment to handle my claim. My adjuster Paul seemed like a nice guy and sure made it seem that this process would be easy. He told me I would get my check in two weeks tops. Over two months later, Paul was not returning any of my phone calls or text messages in the past 5 weeks. I find this very rude. If you have a loss i highly recommend staying away from Action Adjustment Services and never have Paul handle your case. read more

I had a very bad experience with Action Adjustment from a fire in May 2016. I would not recommend them. I will never forget or forgive what they did to me. Consumer beware. Read all the contracts and do not sign anything right away. Make sure you understand what you're signing. Do not use any contractors recommended to you by Action Adjustment. Make sure any checks issued to you (and/or a contractor) from Action Adjustment are given to you to sign and pay the contractor. Also, if you have a fire claim, beware of fire chasers. Horrible communication , poor customer service. I would compare them to a grimy used car salesman. He will tell you everything you want to hear and answer all of your questions for three days . After that if you are stupid enough to sign his contract you are locked in for the LONG haul. He will drag out the process and sometime go 4-6 weeks without returning a phone call or email. 6 months now and still waiting for answers. I strongly encourage you not to waste you time , and too do your research when hiring a public adjuster. This guy makes plenty of money and could care less when you will get paid and have your life back together because the longer it takes the more money he most likely will get from your insurance company. These characters are slicker than grease ! At first I was truly baffled by the surly and unprofessional phone manner of their office staff. It was confusing since I was their customer! It was way worse than dealing with the customer service hotline at any random insurance company. Weeks would go by without them returning my calls. And then when they finally get back to you, the answers to your questions are designed to create even MORE confusion, not clear anything up. Then I realized- it's a GRIFT !!! It was feeling like I was about to get ripped off actually, but I just didn't want to believe it. Then at the very end, after months of dragging their feet thinking they were wearing us down- they played a shell game with fire restoration company that they "work with" (and I put that in quotes because they are all part of the same con) and they end up walking away with over 40% of our settlement check. If that was how it is supposed to go down from the beginning then why don't they explain that to you at the beginning? Because if they tell you they are taking that chunky cut up front and that you'll be stuck dealing with the insurance company yourself filing for supplements when you go and try and fix your house with the little over half they leave you with- you would sign with a different adjustment firm. And that's what I recommend you do ! This outfit is straight gangster ! read more
