My very vocal and active cat, Bubsy Patterson, was not so vocal and active over the weekend and I…read moreknew something was wrong. My cat stopped eating and was sleeping wayyyy more than usual and I had a bad feeling so I took her here. Bless the employees here. My cat is a little fluff ball so no one noticed that she had a abscess cyst near her bottom but the Vet and vet tech shaved her and found the source of pain and handled it with care. The staff here is amazing and they really take care of your family member. I was able to get my cat treated and her wound cleaned, vaccination shots up to date and they gave her an antibiotic shot that lasts 2 weeks to save me the trouble of having to give my cat a daily dose of medication that would probably leave me with scratch marks. It was difficult for the staff to get my cat to take a digestive tablet to increase her appetite but they didn't give up on her. My cat was an asshole and difficult and spit out the pill 3 times but they finally got her to swallow (insert dirty joke here because your minds are filthy, you animals) and sent me home with a few cans of food :) I don't have anything negative to say about this clinic. They took care of my cat and everyone was super friendly and professional. The prices are reasonable and they are very patient which is amazing considering my cat didn't make their jobs easier at all for 2 hours. Your pet will be cared for if brought here!

I wanted to replace my vet clinic because it was sold to some large corporation. Good Friends was…read moreone of the places I called. I wound up making an appointment. They required a $30 deposit. I asked if the deposit was refundable. The person I was speaking with said that appointment could be cancelled and deposit refunded 24 hours prior to appointment. Since the appointment was 2 pm Monday, I asked if they were open on Saturday. The person I was speaking with said they are. That meant I could cancel 48 hours in advance by calling as late as 2 pm Saturday. A couple hours later, I learned that Good Friends is also corporate owned. I called at 2:14 pm Friday 10/11/24 to cancel, just a couple hours after I made the appointment. Another person answered the phone, and she refused to refund the deposit. After calling my bank to dispute the charge, I called back to give them another chance. Lydia answered and initially refused to give her name. Eventually she gave me her name and revealed that Good Friends is part of Heartland Veterinary Partners. I called Heartland Veterinary Partners and was unable to secure a refund. So now I have to file BBB complaint, AG complaint, and potentially a small claims action. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS.
