On…read moretheir first visit last fall, we had them come and replace a toilet seal in the master bath, upon arrival they discovered they did not have a tool they needed and would have to wait until someone brought it out to them and told us we would not be charged for the hour and a half waiting time. We were charged while they sat outside and waited. Ok a mistake not that big of a deal. Three months later, the toilet seal they installed failed. So we called them they came out, we had them replace two seals in two bathrooms and replace the toilet guts as well, our bill was 926.00, but we ate it and said at least it's done. Now three months later the master bath toilet seal needs to be replaced again plus you have to hold down the handle for at least 30 seconds for both toilets to flush. We called them about it today, not happy to have paid for the first toilet seal to be replaced twice, and neither toilet to be flushing properly. They informed us that they guarantee their work for 30 days, and it had been three months. We are now finding someone else to do our plumbing. Their workers were very nice while here, I think the supplies that they are using are less than adequate. I don't know. But fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, and there will not be a third time for me or any of my friends.

    I received a flyer for installationof new system and "no interest for 36 months." I had to replace…read morethe whole system in the house I just bought when I got to TX. I called McWilliams to ask about their equipment and a technician arrived the following day. His name is Jessie. Initially, I qualified for a military discount and also a senior discount. He said they could combine them. He showed me three options for equipment installations. I was interested in the middle option and asked what the price would be for that with my discounts applied. He stated that he had contacted their finance officer and he had deducted the discounts and sent the results to Jessie in an email... which he had shown to me. I have no idea what the original prices for those 3 options were because I was not allowed to see those numbers, only the listing in the email he showed to me. I opted for the middle option which was just over $20.5K. I told Jessie early in our conversation that I wanted the "no interest for 36 months" option on the flyer. He said that would be done. He kept asking me if I wanted to finance, I replied "with McWilliams?" He said no, they work with a business that takes care of the billing and financing. I asked if I could still get the "no interest for 36 months" and he assured me that I would absolutely get that!" I had problems with the finance people who sent me a text saying they were sending a "welcome letter" to me and that I could not open my account until that letter arrived. It took forever with many emails to get them to respnd and they finally sent me the letter in an email so I could open my account just a few days before the first payment was due. I sent in my first payment of $500. Received a statement back and they had chaged me interest on that payment! They kept $174.08!! I contacted McWilliams, then called the loan company. The clerk took my information and said she would give it to their office that handles complaints, would take 2-5 days for an answer and that they would contact McWilliams and work out the problem. It's been over a month, I made another payment this morning that was due today, still knowing the company will charge me interest. I am beginning to think there is a fraud problem with McWilliams because I purchased equipment under their "no interest for 36 months" plan and I'm getting stuck with interest payments to the loan company. I have contacted McWilliams many times, clerk says she will contact their finance officer and HE will get back with me. HE never does, even with calling several times to get this problem settled. After reading other recent reviews, I don't think my problem will be handled soon and will follow others in making complaints to the BBB and any other office that takes on consumer complaints. I want the "no interest for 36 months" that I verbally contracted for which Jessie told me I would absolutely receive. Oh, on on a recorded message when I paid this morning, it said I could not pay off this loan during the 36 month period of the loan. I might just go to a McWilliams office and pay off the loan right then.. I'm tired of playing their game, bait and switch or fraud or right the interest problem... McWilliams... it's your choice.
