    Ropa viejo empanada
    Caresse M.

We tried the ropa vieja empanada and chicken empanada for a light breakfast with the cortadito coffee. The ropa vieja was savory and rich. The vibes were bright and Laura provided excellent service. Ache is a great way to start the day in Wynwood!

Great food and attentive service. The croquettes were phenomenal, ate it so fast we didn't get a picture .

So beautiful and vibrant inside! We stopped by for a coffee, but stayed for a snack as well. The service was outstanding and they were genuinely appreciative we were there.

I needed a coffee that was close to my hotel in Wynwood... took a walk and landed upon La Colada. Ended up getting a strong AF coffee, delicious empanada, and a cigar for the mister. lol. That's right. They have cigars here. This was truly an epic experience. I would have stayed longer if I had had more time in my morning to do so. I would have had a full blown breakfast. Lol. But instead, I did get a chicken empanada which was packed with delicious shredded chicken, marinated in a tomato based seasoning (it tasted like). And my latte which I got with oat milk definitely hit the spot. It was bold and strong like a Cuban. ;) love that their coffee beans are Cuban!!!! Miry and Maylin are the ones that kept us fed and entertained. Loved their energy. And I love the way the restaurant is decorated where it gives a tropical, Cuban feel, right in Wynwood!!!! They have another location in Little Miami which I will be visiting next time. Even got to meet the owner, Ernesto. Such a great guy!

Five stars just for a Cafecito? If we're talking about colada gourmet in Wynwood, yes! My lady I stopped by a couple of weekends back during our Wynwood staycation. Between walking around looking at the art and a long fun club night, i certainly needed an extra boost. The Cafecito was well presented and definitely nice and strong. The five stars come because the owner who happen to be in the store, took time out to tell us about his two locations and how the Wynwood store has wine, pairing dinners regularly. We're certainly looking forward to trying that.

    Tres leches coffee

Wonderful customer service as soon as we walked through the door. The decor was beautiful. We ordered 3 different coffees, that were strong, just what we needed.

A must for the Coffee lovers! Don't hesitate every specialty coffee is pretty great! favorite was the Tres leches yummmm it has leche condensada. The pancakes were really good but the other food items I would probably skip out on. The place is also soooo cute! Also PLEASE have in mind that they automatically add and 18% gratuity.

Mary Jane was awesome! Great espresso!! Very friendly place and was decorated amazingly for Christmas!

This is one of my favorite spots in Wynwood and you MUST stop by if you can. Here is what you need to know: 1. THE PASTELITOS!!! Top notch. Guayaba y queso is what you must get every single time. One of my favorites in the city. 2. Guava matcha.... just as excellent as the coffee options 3. You can post up with your laptop and enjoy snacks 4. Croquetas are also delicious 5. The staff here is SO nice. They made it really feel like home. It is a top cafe in the area. Honestly, the pastelitos are better than Versailles..

This place was super close to our hotel and I wanted to eat Cuban food before I left Miami. This place is adorable and we got seated right away. Started with the chorizo croquettes. These were my absolute favorite thing I ate. Full of flavor and perfection. We also got the ropa vieja empanadas. They were good too. We split the Cuban sandwich and it was exactly as it should be. About halfway through our meal they seated the table next to us. The place is small but the tables were so close that when the server came over to talk to them her butt cheeks were on our table and on my utensils. That is too close in my opinion. Thankfully at that point we were eating the sandwich and I was not using my utensils. I will say that the server at our table was friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back but hope that my table isn't as close next time.

Who can say no to a coffee that says has a smile? My gentleman friend ... needed an extra boost so we peaked in for coffee.( cafesito) The restaurant is nice and cozy. Well lighted. It had a few tables inside. I believe there may have been outdoor seating. They have a good selection of Wine display. Towards the back they have a nice coffee bar. We were curious on the menu since we actually only stopped for coffee. ( we ate prior across the street) The waiter informed the owner. The owner came to introduce himself and explained the menu and the dishes he has to offer! He informed us that he has another location in Little Havana but that only offers coffee. The Wynwood location offers food. The chef at the restaurant is a woman! He said that she cooks amazingly! He was describing the dishes and I wanted to sit down to eat again! I thought it was nice that the owner came to talk to us and gave us some background history on the restaurant. I can't wait to go back for lunch or dinner! By the sounds of it I'll make sure I'll go with an appetite! By the way the coffee was perfect! Reason for a 4 rating since we did not eat!

Food/Drinks (4/5): Tried two different coffees with a few small bites. The coffee itself was phenomenal and could really taste the quality of the coffee beans used to make them. The few small plates we had were great as well and wish we hadn't had eaten prior to coming here. All the more reason to go back and try more options. Service (5/5): The service was great. The staff there are very welcoming and more than happy to explain the different types of coffee and dishes they offer as well as taking pride in everything being as freah and local as possible. Which it showed in the quality of their drinks and dishes. Location (5/5): The cafe is located on a corner in the Wynwood area. If Miami was a coffee shop, then this would be the place. It has a good mix of both tropical and coffee shop aesthetic which I was a big fan of. Plenty of table seating, small bar, and outside seating as well.

One of our favorite lunches in Miami. Within Wynwood, La Colada was a great place to unwind over good food. To drink, their Tres Leches was perfectly creamy and sweet. To eat, the croquettes and plantains were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. My wife liked their French toast with guava marmalade. Service was friendly and efficient and the space bright and beautiful.

There was literally dirt/mud at the bottom and I took my first bite and it felt like biting into sand. Upon spitting the food out onto my plate it was black sludge. Literally my tongue and teeth were black. The waiter came by and grabbed the plate when I was in the bathroom. I spent about 10 minutes trying to get that BLACK SLUDGE out of my mouth. When I was spitting out the dirt/mud wife noticed the bus boys laughing at me and there was not a manger in sight. When I asked for a manager he did not even respond. No apology or anything just a look of confusion. Worst experience in a restaurant in my life and I love to eat and have been to many types of restaurant big and small. Cheap and expensive and this one takes the cake. We were so bummed as I see thousands of great reviews. But if there was a zero I would have given zero stars the way they handled the situation. If you eat there in the future make sure to check for DIRT/MUD.

The Lechon was by far the crowd favorite flavor wise, but it is heavier with the pork fat. The garlic sauce is a must to help cut through the richness. We left supremely happy with the salty and garlicky fat flavors lingering on our tastebuds, rejuvenated by a quick shot of velvety espresso, and capped off with the sweet guava and tangy queso crema shake (La Timba). This location is nestled in a food court style area, with a few restaurants offering sit down table service as well. And when I say offering, the sales tactics are reminiscent of timeshare sales zombies standing in an idle state until you mistakenly stop for a BEAT and then it's game on for them. Luckily at Sanguich, they have a few dedicated seats and tables for themselves and they'll come drop your order for you. A little bit of a scavenger hunt to find it, but well worth the adventure. We ordered a ton, and right off the bat: if you love croquetas and empanadas, order extra. They're on the smaller side and come individually, but they are so good they disappear fast. The beef empanadas were a 10/10 perfectly seasoned and crispy. The chicken empanadas didn't hit the same for me, but the jamón croquetas? Absolutely insane. A must. For appetizers, the prawns al ajillo were delicious super flavorful and cooked perfectly. We also tried the grilled octopus, which was good, but not my favorite. It leaned a bit bland for my taste, even with the sauce. Now, the must-get: the carnitas with pickled onions. Easily one of the best dishes of the night so flavorful, tender, and perfectly balanced. For entrées, we had the ribeye steak and arroz con pollo, plus sides of tostones and yuca. Everything here delivered. The steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right not overly salty. The arroz con pollo was phenomenal, the kind of dish you could eat every single day. The tostones were crispy and tossed in garlic, which took the flavor to another level, and the yuca was melt-in-your-mouth good. I also ordered a mojito, which unfortunately was very watered down, I barely got any of that classic mojito flavor. Service overall was solid, especially considering how loud the restaurant gets it was honestly hard to hear each other at the table, so shoutout to our server for keeping everything straight. The appetizers came out quickly, back-to-back, which we loved. The only downside was the wait for the entrées they took quite a while after we finished the apps, even though we ordered everything at once. Overall, amazing food, great energy, and definitely worth going just be prepared for a lively (and loud) atmosphere.
