Upon arrival at the destination though- he did something strange again. He demanded that I pay the $110 before he helps me unload the luggage. I thought that it was pretty rude and bad customer service, to do so. I paid the amount (which is a hefty sum, compared to an Uber ride for the same distance), and he did unload my luggage (albeit a bit begrudgingly). I also thought it was weird that there was a blue and white fan towards his face, on the driver's side. I made sure to sit behind the passenger side, away from the fan. I was having trouble getting an Uber to take my teen daughter to LA for work. Two other reputable ride services were also not available - Lyft won't carry teens without parents and HopSkipDrive does not allow for late reservations. She could have driven herself, but I was not ready for her to do this yet. LOL! I looked on Yelp and found Dave. Not only did he drive her from Huntington Beach to LA with less than two hours notice, he was so nice about it. He kept me informed and my daughter said he was very friendly and professional. It cost more than rideshare options, but it was so worth it! I highly recommend Dave and would trust him with my kiddo again! We will definitely be back.

Well we made it to/from LAX alive and in time. I will say John was communicative and let us know…read morehow and where to meet, and let us know when he was on his way and if there were any delays. Otherwise, his driving was a little scary; we were picked up not super early in the morning (between 9-11am), but he looked like he was struggling and swerved 2-3 times to stay in his lane. The van was also pretty filthy on the inside; there were nut shells on the floor and didn't seemed it was cleaned for several weeks. I would not recommend especially if your family has any food or pet allergies.
