Ace is okay as far as a local conveience store/Off License goes. They stock every day products like milk, cat food, bread etc. There is a rather large selection of alcohol available for purchase also. Personally, I think they've gone a bit overboard with the variety as there are some odd liquers and drinks Ive never heard of before - so I cant imagine the demand is there for this type of product. Lots of reasonably priced beers and wines too though, and they often have offers on. An added plus is you can join their DVD club which does stock up to date titles. They normally only have one of each though, so you would need to get there early to get the newest release. Friendly, family business. read more

Acey's as most of the local's call it, is a great local off licence. Has a lot of every day items as written above and the staff are friendly and helpful. There are so many different ranges of products, especially liquer's! Good place to buy a liquer or alcoholic beverage for a party. Recommended! read more
