Who's this one could have been a minus star. If the person at the counter was the owner then I hope and pray NO ONE EVERS shops hear! Not only is he rude, void of any personality! I came here on 10/17/22 to search for a particular mixer that Altos makes, while on the phone with a friend to show them the selection instead of trying to be helpful the owner treated me as though I was trespassing, begging or that I was going to steal something. I am so sick and tired of anyone of ANY RACE reacting as though spending your money with them doesn't matter, sick and tired of the excuse of culture differences as a reason for unacceptable behavior. I have traveled the world and always try to respect and treat others the way I would expect to be treated NO MATTER the RACE, if you don't want to be in a service business then close the F@C# down. To EVERYONE please quit spending money with these "business owners". We ALL work to hard and have to MANY options! This is just your normal liquor store. I've been here a few times to play the Lotto. The prices are about average. It's not the cleanest damn place though. So I would not purchase anything to drink or eat from here. Sad part is that I swear the people that own this own the Mexican resaurnt next door. Just have a gut feeling about that. And I really enjoy the Mexican spot. read more

I don't normally shop here, as selection and prices next door are a little better, but I thought I'd give it another try. Big mistake. I spent $12 on a bottle of sake, only to find that it was stale. Sake, like beer, has a shelf life, and if it sits too long, it becomes very unpleasant to drink. Predictably, taking it back was a waste of time, as "state law" prohibits returns or exchanges on alcohol. The proprietor wouldn't even acknowledge that sake can expire. She might have changed her mind if she had bothered to taste it. And here's where I take responsibility. It was my own fault. I should have listened to my gut. I knew there was something off about the place, and why shouldn't I expect my sake to be stale after seeing a ratty six-pack of Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale 2009? That's five years old. Beer sitting in the cooler for five years, with the year clearly marked, just waiting for some poor chump that doesn't know better to buy it. I'd like to think that these people aren't trying to screw their customers intentionally, but now I'm not so sure... read more

My neighborhood package store. They have a decent selection of both staple liquors and flavored liqueurs at a decent price for a small store. They also know me by name and are always friendly. On one visit I was overcharged for a bottle of tequila. On my next visit they remembered and gave me a discount for the difference on my next bottle. Can't beat that for a liquor store! read more
