Primitive, rude, impatient, poor customer service, and the odor of the store was intolerable! And I am speaking of only one guy! The one at the parts counter! I simply wanted a lawn mower filter. Initially, I am sent to the parts counter. This was my first time and last time in this store. Rather than direct me to the aisle of filters where I can select the filter myself; I am told I cannot be helped because I did not have the actual used filter! When I return with the used filter. I am simply pointed two feet away to the filter aisle. Unbelievable! Why direct me to a parts counter if my part is on the floor? I could have found the part myself! 3:45, the date, 6 1 22. I phoned ace hardware on st. Mary's rd Columbus GA. Was planning to purchase 7 toilet flanges at $ 25.00 each. First call was put on hold for 6 minutes. Second call I was put on hold for 4 mins. Third call spoke to a lady who yelled to a guy employee and asked if he had toilet flanges on the shelf he said yes but would not tell me if he had the 7 we need nor would he tell me if he had the size flange we need. We will take this nearly $200.00 purchase elsewhere. read more
