About a month later I got back the finished product. The fit is fantastic. They do a great job blocking out ambient noise, and the sound quality is even better than before because of the great seal in my ear. The only reason I wouldn't give 5 stars is the time it took (about 3 weeks, with shipping on both ends), and communication could have been better (I called to confirm they received my package and were working on it, because I heard nothing back).

I was called maybe half an hour before my scheduled appointment and was alerted that with my insurance and current deductible, my test would be one hefty price ($$$$). I just wish this would have been relayed to me more in advance than just 30 minutes. Anyways- Upon entering the building, I was greeted by Amy at the front desk. She was just as easy to talk to as she was on the phone. She took my license and insurance card and explained to me the forms that I needed to fill out. She was quite the pleasure to talk to and have small conversation before going in for my test. Lisa Speigle was my audiologist this morning. She walked me through all the tests she would be performing. She was clear and concise with her instructions and just like Amy, very pleasant and a good conversationalist. She was very thorough and reiterated that if I had any questions regarding the test results that I could give her a call or e-mail anytime. Although I wasn't seen at exactly my scheduled appointment time, given the time it took me to check in, fill out my papers and get a drink of water...I didn't wait too long before being seen. I have had some bad experiences with other medical establishments that kept me waiting for an obscene amount of time.

Renee had called offering this free hearing test. So off we went (they request the presence with your better half). We met Mike, who's a very nice fella that knows what he's talking about. We went through the test. And here I am - I thought I did very well! But of course, it's quite 'clear' that I, need, aid! Mike hooked me up to what a hearing aid would feel/sound like, and how I would hear sounds differently. It was a little strange, but I think I might be able to get used to it. But aid comes at a very steep cost - yes there are options, but if you know me, I'm seldom going to go bottom-rung. As well, the technology seems to advancing more for iPhone users than us Androidians. I haven't bitten yet, and will be unlikely to do so until I've checked out the alternatives, including Costco. But a copy of that 'ear' self-portrait by Van Gogh (or as the case might be, "earless") hanging in the waiting room - that was a laugh and a half!

Dr. Damask's offices and equipment were modern and clean, and the help was friendly. This is where the good news ends. The copy of the lab report that I received from Quest basically stated that the samples could not be tested as sent, and to call for more info. I waited a couple of days thinking I would be contacted by Dr. Damask's office for a retest. No call so I called Quest and was told that the samples could not be tested because the swabs that were used were not suitable for a bacterial analysis. I called the Doctor's office and gave a detailed message to the Doctor's assistant who relayed the message while I was on the phone. I was told that the Doctor would call me back. No call from the Doctor. Why? My insurance would, most likely, have paid for a redo. Why kind of Doctor refused to fix their own mistakes?

Brian Moorhead, BC-HIS was the Specialist who helped me, and him and his staff were very nice and professional. I am 40 years old, and I was very intimated at first knowing I truly needed to get hearing aids, at what I feel is still a very young age. Hearing Aids is a big investment, but I tell you I wouldn't trade these for the world! I don't see how I was functioning in life without them. I could hear things I had never heard before. And the best part now with having the aids, I have super human ears! Lol!! I can customize my restaurant settings amongst others which is amazing! Love that it's Bluetooth compatible and I can listen to my favorite songs through them, answer the phone hands free, and most importantly HEAR! Hear and understand what you're saying without me asking you to repeat yourself a thousand times and misinterpreting what you said.
